Guns that you just don't like.

Don't like?

What's to hate about guns?

They all go "BOOM!"

As we all clap our hands!

One more time, Daddy!

Never met a gun I didn't like for some reason or an other.:barf:

Ditto on the gold-plated "America Remembers" commemorative guns.

Yeah, I want to spend hundreds of dollars on an indescribably tacky Elvis Presley .44 Magnum ("own the gun that blasted Jerry Lee Lewis off the television!") that is never meant to be shot and would lose nearly all of it's value if it ever was shot.

I cannot recall ever looking at one of their ads in the gun magazines and thinking, "Man, I'd sure like to have that!"

Dont really HATE any guns but Heckler and Koch gets my vote for being the most arrogant backward azzed service department in relation to how over rated and hyped their toys are. HKs DO break...and getting parts in a timely manner absolutely blows. That counts when you need guns back on duty for police or military. Sig isnt much better lately in' this regard either.

Glocks

The notch for your finger in the trigger gaurd fits just a slight bit too tight. I've shot them in the past, and they are fun. But, I just can't spend money on a gun that is uncomfortable to me.

Oh yeah... and the Bryco/Jennings 380. That was a PIECE.... It had a hard time to hit MOC (minute of cow) at 7 yards... It suffered a fiery fate of an oxy acetylene torch.

Guns I don't particularly care for:

1. All plastic guns that are not Glock. I will tolerate the Glock 17 just because they outperform anything else out there from an endurance and abuse standpoint. Other more powerful Glocks are more prone to problems and I lump them in with the rest of the plastic guns.

2. Top Break revolvers - Low powered guns which are prone to breaking. They are the saturday night specials of the late 19th and early 20th centuaries.

3. All pot metal guns, except my Jennings .22. I'd object to it too, but I only paid $69 for the delux chrome one with wood grips, and it has worked reliably for 18 years. I'm still trying to make it break......but it won't.

4. Taurus / Baretta 9mm's. Awful design prone to breaking.

5. Any gun with a built in lock on it.

6. Thin-receiver US made AK-47 knock-offs.

7. SKS - no good reason, I just hate everything about this gun - looks like something chisled from pieces of re-bar in an Afghanistan bazzar.

8. Snub-nose revolvers and long barreled revolvers.....and well 90% of the revolvers out there generally speaking.

9. Semi-automatic revolver.

10. Large caliber Single shot pistols.........I just don't see the point.

Any of the elite 1911's that won't feed or eject but they look cool.

Kahr

Any S&W autoloaders and revolvers with the internal lock.

Willie's hate fest part 2. I am filled with hatred!

I hate any AK-47/AR-15 that someone cobbled together in their mom's garage. (I don't care if your's shoots 1/2 MOA at 3 miles I still hate it!)

I hate those stupid "America's heros" guns plated with gold blah blah blah. Stupid!

I hate Mosin Nagants for their country road trigger.

I hate any specific gun and the idiot holding it where the words "Gonna take these away soon" are used. Selling on fear/panic is the tactic of scum.

I hate any gun that I own that I have a bad day with but my friends shoot great.

I hate anything made by Vulcan arms.

I hate defensive handguns that won't feed hollow points.

More to come...

P.S. I don't like anything about a Glock except the fact that they work so well and I shoot them so well. It's a love hate thing.

Not the gun's fault :p

Like some others here, I don't hate any guns, but prefer some to others.

I don't care for full size Glocks because the grip is uncomfortable to me.
I do like the smaller Glock 26 and 36.

I am not impressed with most S&W semi-autos because the triggers are not nearly as good as many guns out there.
I do like the S&W 3913. The grip feels like it was made for me. The trigger, though, is only OK.

I love old battle rifles for their palpable link to history.

I don't particularly like KelTec's, what with plastic mag releases that wear out and some other issues, but they serve a purpose and have always been reliable for me.

I love the Kahr MK9 that shoots better than any gun that size should - and it has been 100% reliable for me.
I like the Kahr PM9, and it, too, has been 100% reliable, but it is not nearly the gun that the MK9 is.

I absolutely do not like the combat sites on GI type 1911's because my aging eyes can't resolve the darn things. But I do love 1911's in general.

Glocks: "Hi I'm a total lemming with no personality"

Enoughgun I'm goin to try and say this within the bounds of forum rules. While your opinion is no less important then mine or anyone else's, the mocking tone and name calling is juvenile and invalidates any point your trying to make. Clearly you have a knack for the written word, so I ask in the future you find a more palatable way to deliver your opinion.
If you expect to be taken seriously by anyone here.

Stop the Hi-Point hating

Dag nabbit, can we get off the broken record... Hi-Points are ugly, Hi-Points are ugly, Hi-Points are ugly... get an original thought.

The only ugly firearm I have ever seen is a PPK with gold etching, made a respectible pistol look like a Kansas City whore ( no offense to KC residents ).

I bought a Hi Point 4 a month ago....no good reason, I just did it....

Yesterday I went to the range and took 4 guns to shoot.

1. Glock 20c 10mm.....Love that gun.

2. Kimber Crimson Trace Ultra....my carry gun

3. S & W Sigma SW40V...(Another gun I bought 6 months ago, and had never fired)

4. Hi Point 40 SW

After shooting 50 rounds through the 10mm, I went to my Kimber and burned a box of Gold Dot short barrel ammo....sweet

Then came out the Sigma, it has an Optima sight, and I fired 5 rounds at 15 yards, and had a tight group just below the hangar of the target...it was almost a foot high at 15 yards, but the vertical was right on...I will have to play some more to decide if I like this heavy trigger gun or not....sure a change after my 4# Glock, and 4# Kimber.

Then came the Hi Point....ugly....yes....heavy ....yes. Ran 30 rounds of 180 Gr bullets through it...It shot accurately, BUT it would kick back and twist to the left, cannot say it hurt my hand but I did not enjoy shooting it in the least..all the other guns are comfortable to shoot, the HP is not.

Lest you think I am some sort of a wimp....I shot 800 rounds through my 10mm 2 weeks ago at Front Sight, and enjoyed all of that.

Hate....The Hi Point is the only gun I own that falls into that category.

I never liked the "Gold" plated Desert Eagles. Looked more like polished brass or something to me, and besides, whats the point?
