Guns that you just don't like.

I dont care for

I dont care for these guns from experience with them
Colt 1911
Smith & wesson chief special semi autos
And any gun that you have to buy different magazines than it came with to be reliable. I hear that in gun shops and it makes no sense to me. I've heard alot of customers and clerks behind the counter say buy this gun and get different mags and it is a good gun.Why buy a gun that you have to buy different mags for it to be reliable?

The S&W Sigma series just looks downright ugly! They shoot nice but again, they look funny to me.

Anything made by Stoeger, the infamous "Jammin' J-22 Jennings" and for some unknown reason, Henry rifles don't appeal to me at all. In fact, you can add just about every firearm that was made before 1894 to those I have no interest in.

Glad to see Stoeger mentioned above! The absolute worst gun I ever owned was a Stoeger Luger 22lr. Jamomatic before and after it went back to Stoeger. They filed away at the chamber some but made it worse. In effect it was a single shot pistol that actually fired more reliably upside down.

But on the bright side I learned from that experience and from then on only bought quality guns. The Stoeger is the only one I got rid of. Right now at our Cabela's there's a used one for sale for $259 I think. It looks older and better built than the mid-70s one I had but no way would I try another.

... otherwise I love 'em all! If they work.

Quentin2,
That's the exact same reason why I mentioned Stoeger...the "single shot" (good one!) .22 "Luger". Horrible!

Another one I forgot to mention was the Llama "Comanche" .357. The timing on it was off and it spit bad. Very very bad gun!

Glocks.
Ruger autos.
Taurus anything.
Ruger Super Redhawks.
They are so ugly. But, you know, you can't see the ugly when you are shooting them and they do shoot pretty well, single action or double, scope or irons, and they are powerful. And they handle identically to the GP100.
And Derringers.
Like the old High Standard. Underpowered, inaccurate. Until it's all you got then you love it. At least I loved mine when it got me out of a scrape.
SIG P250 jammamatic.
Any jammamatic.

This is way too easy,
I don't like anything but Taurus, been shooting them for years with no problems. If they are such bad guns, then I must be lucky to have had the few good ones.
Ran 200 rounds through my Taurus 1911 this afternoon with out a single problem.

I'm curious to know how it will hold up in the long run. I'm not being sarcastic either - I'm serious. Let us know how things are going around the 500 round mark, then 1000 etc.

If they are such bad guns, then I must be lucky to have had the few good ones.

Everyone is going to have their own opinions, good or bad. People like to bash Glocks and Kimbers a lot on this forum - But,I still like 'em, ( the glocks, kimbers, and members of this forum... Alright, the mods are okay too :D )

I am not too fond of Taurus, but maybe I haven't given them enough of a chance.

Currently, a High Standard 22 snubby revolver with a timing problem that keeps it from being the outstandingly accurate snubby it actually is.

In the past?

I owned a RG 38 that sprayed me with lead everytime I shot it but it was accurate and fired everytime and if Mr.Bad Guy was coming at me,well, let's say Mr.Bad Guy would know it.

I can't hate that.

That 'pot metal' revolver had a great feel to it as well.

All the weight seemed far forward right where it should be.

And NO- I would'nt buy another one, unless it was $20.:D

The only other gun that makes the "What a POS." file was a little flip barrel 22LR Beretta with wood grips I once owned.

Everytime I thought,"Walaa!" I'd finally found a 22 round it would shoot reliably it would do every jam in the jam book possible.

And it was a Beretta.Go figure.

I've owned four Taurus's-no problems with any of them.

I'm not to fond of the off color guns but hey,if a pink revolver gets a gun in a woman's hands and that woman defends herself from a attacking rapist with that pink gun,I like pink revolvers too.

Every gun sold has a person that it was designed for.

Some don't have the money to buy a Smith,Ruger,Sig or Glock.

They just need a gun with them to spit a bullet if some sick person attacks them or their family.

Just don't miss with that first shot.

On some super cheap semi autos, that second shot is a crap shoot.

Dislikes:
El Cheapo copies that can not be depended on.
Glocks, ONLY beacuse they don't fit my hand.
The Sigma series from S&W.
Charter Arms, the quality is ify at times
Ruger semi-autos, bulky for my tates

Likes:
Just about any GOOD 1911
Ruger SRH Alaskan in .44M---I have one
Ruger Blackhawks
S&W M&P series
S&W in the 442-642 series, no IL
S&W N frames in .44M
Freedom Arms SA, just doesn't get any better

XD's...if they are such a great design, why didn't they get the admiration when they were HS2000's? Just shows it's the name not the gun itself. :barf:

All supersized revolvers (X-frame, Taurus Judge, Magnum Research rifle cartridge BFRs, etc) . They simply lack ANY style and class IMO.:barf:

I don't mean to interrupt this hate thread, but is there any reason to hate Hi-Points other than they're ugly? I mean ugly will kill as quick as pretty! Just curious.

I dislike the Judge because it implies that it is the wonder weapon for the untrained with amazing stopping power. It encourages bad attitudes, IMHO.

You hate 1911's?

This thread is not for discussion. That is how things in it will begin to spiral. Only list your dislikes and why. I have seen all of mine critisized soundly. My rule on that is, don't dish it out if you can't take it. :D:D

Nope pretty much just that reason... Hell when I'm killin' I need to look good! double fistin' blued Revolvers like a gentlemen! :D:D:D

I mean they are homely but if there is a market for hi-points... low cost reliable for many people that only buy one gun its enough. Hell if I could still find one for under 100 in 9mm i would get it.

I hate the USP .45 just cause it won't fit in my hands... I cried for a week.

I hate the lack of nice .22 DA revolvers too

I really can't say I dislike any gun, if one was offered I would snatch it up no problem.

WAIT WAIT! I hate guns that are laywered up its the stupidity of others that make smart gun owners suffer...

I hate anything trendy and mainstream. In my opinion that includes Glocks and all the Glock knockoffs, 9mm, Rascal Flats, pop music, and euro-style tail lights. I guess I got a little off subject there. Sorry

I do not care for mag disconnects at all except for the fact I really like Hi-Powers, they're the only thing sweet enough to excuse it and removing them makes them sweeter. In a defense situation and under stress if I lose my mag due to the draw or recoil of an un-trainable situation even if I'm faced with 20 opponents...I want my one shot!
