Anybody Carry A Revolver?

For years, I carried only a S&W360sc .357 snubby in my front pocket. Finally started wanting more rounds before a reload (and I also wanted a backup), and added a second 360sc in a homemade under-the-shirt vertical shoulder holster. Some years later, I replaced the 2nd 360sc with a 10mm Kimber 1911 (also in a homemade under-the-shirt shoulder holster). Last spring, I had a close-up black bear encounter, and bought a S&W 69 .44mag 5-shot 4-1/4" revolver (also carried in a homemade under-the-shirt shoulder holster). I carry the .44mag when the bears are awake, and the 1911 when they are asleep.

I sure do!
LCR .357 in my right front Wrangler pocket.
Bobbed hammer S&W Model 36 on my left ankle.
If it's cold enough to wear a coat, I'll carry my .357 Ruger Blackhawk and/or one of my Service or Security Sixes.
I prefer revolvers for CCW.
My other firearms include:
Zastava M57
CZ-52
CZ-82
CZ-83
Walther PPK/s
Bulgarian Makarov
All are great firearms and 99.9% reliable...but...the revolvers are 100%.

Why not a speedloader? That seems awfully slow...

Yes Sir! Daily carry is my 2-1/2 Bulldog in a IWB holster. And I will be carrying my new 4" 629 in OWB rig when hanging around and/or working around our property up north.

This is in the truck when I am out and about...

This is a "house gun" that I will grab on rare occasions and stick it in a coat pocket as I'm going out the door...

Is that really "carry"? Do you carry any revolver in a holster, or if you must, a pants pocket?

I think any handgun within reach is "carry" but apparently you have a different definition. By yours then, no, I don't "carry" a revolver.

Happy now?

Usually a S&W 642 in a pocket holster. If I feel like belt carry, I go with a S&W 64 2" barrel.

I have semi-autos and have carried them in the past but in general the 642 in a pocket is my default choice.

I carry a Rossi 462 in .357 magnum snub revolver.

The Taurus 856 fits the same Theis IWB holster so the Taurus gets carried as well. In other words I trade out which one I carry on occasion.
