Which handgun does your wife prefer?

LOL! that's an EASY question... Whatever I happen to buy that is expensive, and for me... I got some more .22 pistols because I love 22 plinking on my range. she claimed my S&W 41 and the Ruger Mark II in one quick swoop... luckly the smith is to heavy so I got that back. My new Mark II I'm only allowed to touch if I'm cleaning it. but my girl likes to shoot after that mark II so its a small price to pay I suppose. Now shes got a list of guns she wants! she wants a taurus 94 wheel gun now.

The women in my life...

My lady used to like the GP-100, until I brought home a CZ75B Omega 9mm. She has since semi-appropriated that semi-auto. Note: she's 5'8" or 5'9", in good shape; grew up on a farm; breeds and trains horses; is starting nursing school. She's neither small, nor fragile, and she's very outdoorsy.

My mother has appropriated my SP101, primarily because she likes the laser, and the CTC grip is comfortable in her hand...

Luckily for me, my sister both dislikes firearms, and lives in a state where it's nearly impossible to have a handgun, so she hasn't absconded with any of my remaining weapons.

My wife has shot several different revolvers and pistols. Her absolute favorite is the Kahr P9 with "A Grip". Her 2nd pick is the Smith CS9

So ironic

My wife hates a snubby .38 special. She fell in love with my Dad's Kimber 1911. My wife has RA and prefers the recoil of the 1911 to most guns including my G19. It's probably because the 1911's grip is so much more ergonomic and the gun is all steel.

One of my Dan Wesson M15-2's has become her preferred nightstand/HD/SD and even plinking handgun.

She has trouble performing some administrative drills on most CF semiautos, especially racking the slide, due to advancing arthritis and limited hand strength. No such issues with the revolver, and she's developed a great deal of confidence in her abilities with it. It's usually loaded with Federal Nyclad 158 gr. +P .38 Spls., which have proven to be extremely accurate for her.

The Glock 26 on the right is hers.

My wife's tried just about every gun I've got, but prefers my (hers, now!) Ruger SP-101 in .22LR. The grip is just the right size for her little hands. Now I've got to try to find one in .38 Spl for her...

My wife had the inventory of three gun dealers to choose from, and she chose the Bersa 380CC. It would not even make my short list of handguns, but a woman wants what a woman wants.

This is her constant companion:

I call the picture "Death By Channel".

My wife likes the big stuff. She likes to fire 454 casulls out of the super redhawk...and she's in the bull with all the shots.
