Which handgun does your wife prefer?

My wife loves her Bersa .380cc. It fits her hands and she likes the way it looks. This picture's godawful, but...

My wife hasn't decided yet and that scares me a little bit. I swear they are mine but that doesn’t seen to hold much water.:D
He leans towards the Walther p22 & Sig mosquito but likes her SP101 with crimson grips or the Mac 90 with under fold stock & 30rd mag.

my sister has that same bersa thunder .380.She wanted a simple gun,I was leaning her twords a wheel .38,but the gunstore lady talked her into the bersa

by "prefer" do mean which gun has my wife most recently appropriated/stolen?

my wife has decided that her favorite gun she has ever shot is my SIG 226 9mm. ever since this realization she has refused to shoot any other guns for fear that it will break her 'winning streak' with the sig, .....and she is a better shot with than any other gun iv seen her shoot.

I made a classic mistake with regards to that. I bought a Bersa .380 (before there was a CC version) with the idea that she would like it and might actually carry it. After all, everyone I'd talked to who had one, and everyone I corresponded with out here on the web, seemed to be of the impression that there's this thing about women and T380s, that they will become "hers", like it or not.

Well, it didn't work out that way. She tried it, and hated it. Too much recoil and she couldn't work the slide*. I carried it for a while and then handed it down to a relative as part of an upgrade on my part.

In the end, she got her S&W 15 which she does like, but won't carry it. It is at her bedside.

Oh, well. I won't force her to carry.

*Yes, I know. It's all in the technique if you are reasonably healthy. She isn't. She has rheumatoid arthritis. I tried to teach her the right way to do it, and she still can't -- not enough grip strength.

My wife hates my M&P9 the least. She actually held it... once...

ok, more correctly, the frame while I had it apart and was cleaning the slide and barrel...

Mine prefers her full size S&W 1911PD, but also has a Beretta Tomcat for when she is working and wearing scrubs.

I bought a Ruger SP101 in 357 to (hopefully) cure my wheelgun/cowboy inner desire. It is now my wife's gun. Not even sure how it happened.

The women in my life seem to have one thing in common they all love my Colt Python 4 inch loaded with 38 spcl. They all shoot it very well. As far as what they carry that is a different story. My little sister actualy carries a 44 spcl. revolver with crimson trace grips. My girlfriend carries a Bersa Thunder 9mm UC. She is wanting to upgrade to a S&W M&P 9mm compact. My aunt carries a LCP 380, before that it was a 38 spcl snubbie. Step mom likes my M&P 45 full sized 4.5 inch bbl. she has not gotten her ccw yet. She has my S&W 9 mm I am not sure of the model of it(bought a few years ago just to have a 9). She keeps it in the car or on the night stand. Step grandma loves the MkII Rugger 22lr. she has artritus and osteperosis so it is a good gun for her she can soot it well and it will not hurt her wrist fingers, or break her thumbs. It also has a very easy slide to operate.
Note on my little sister she does like to shoot autos and owns get ready for this a 50. AE Desert Eagle:eek: She goes hog hunting with me at times and shoots it very well. She is a small framed woman of 5ft5in about 115 ponds.

My wife knows how to use just about anything in the safe. But she prefers none.:( Won't have much to do with any of them. I guess all that matters is she can use them if she ever has to, for defensive reasons. And besides, that just means more for me.:D

Gail, my partner, and wife has taken up shooting with me as have our daughters. A accomplished cross sticher she took on the ccw coarse here with a S&W686, and recieved her licence. Her carry piece is a 2" .32 h&r mag. As ammo is scarce as a reloader we can keep on shooting, but the wife will have to help with the chores.

Well she picks and buys her own......

My DSW has her own mind. Hercurrent favorite is a Keltec 9mm, PF9.
She has CCW'd her S&W 6906, 9mm.
She has a couple other 9mm's in the house.
She likes my Kimber .45 acp, alright, better than my .357's.
She can shoot & handle any weapon we have in the house.

Mine really liked her 3" XD9, until I had her shoot my 3" Kimber UCII. Now she has a Springfield Armory 3" 1911 with Crimson Trace grips, and is looking forward to getting her CHL.
