Whats your favorite rifle?

I currently only have an AR15 5.56/223 so that is my favorite. I'd love to add a 7.62/308 and 22LR in the line up as soon as funds allow.

Favorite, hands down, is my Winchester 62a.

Though I really like my Savage '99...and my Ruger .44magnum carbine...

But I first learned to shoot with the 62a a long, long time ago :).

Currently, Rem. 700 VSF .308. It varies tho ... Been trying a new load that's really working out well, so it jumped to the top of the pile again.

Favorite rifle

My favorite rifle is the Lee-Enfield No.4 MK2. a very slick operating bolt action rifle and the first high-power rifle I shot when I was a boy.

J. Budd

My Ruger M77R chambered in 300WM. 40+ years. A lot of deer and elk have been harvested with it along with an occasional moose and bear. Not as pretty as she used to be, but definately gets the job done!

I really like my Ishapore Enfield in 7.62 NATO. Ironically, this is the only firearm I own (in working condition) that I have not fired yet. I have a Yugo SKS that I love as well.

I change favorites fairly often, seems like.

Right now it's a A-Bolt Stainless Stalker w/Boss in .270 win.

Who knows what it'll be next month.

Win M88/.308

I've posted before, that if I had to sell all others and own only one, it would be an heirloom , 1956 M88 purchased by my Grandad that same year, and hunted by him, my Dad and now me. My boy gets it next.

A ton of memories in that old rifle. Darn thing is a shooter too, long before I loaded or new a bit about rifles, the M88 would plunk Win factory 150's into tidy near inch size groups, and ......with loads and some toying with the forearm screw and a shim to free float, it shoots even better.

Sleek, plain, old time Win quality. Now the rifle is largely retired, I did not hunt it last season, but it is my favorite.

What is my favorite rifle?

The AR. I can do anything with my AR that I can do with any other gun I own or have owned.

My two favorites and the groups they shoot.

Remington 700 SPS Buckmasters .270 and Ruger 77 MkII all-weather .300 Win Mag pillar and glass bedded (free floated) in a Boyds laminated stock.

My favorite hunting rifle is a Mauser sporter that I got a few years ago. I have been handloading etc. since 1953 and I have a battery of pre 64 M70's, 99's, Brno, Sauer etc.

This rifle has well figured walnut, fine checkering, a M70 type 3 position safety, a 30-06 octagon barrel and it stays sighted in and makes good groups.

It's trigger is superb and I have made some good shots with it on game.

While a Leu.2-7 in Redfields is shown in the pictures it's scope is now a Leu. 2.5-8 in Conetrol mounts.

Perhaps my most cherished is a Browning BAR Safari II in 30.06 and my BAR Safari in 7Mag.

But, the one that gets shot the most and is my go-to gun is my Marlin 336 30-30.

Marlin .30-30 with scope. Bought it used but love it just the same. It is a 30 AS in birch, not walnut.
My second favorite is my Henry .22.
My next one will be a .30-30 with iron sites for high powered plinking.
Love those levers!
