Whats your favorite rifle?

My SU16, since its folding feature means I can stuff it into a medium-sized gym bag. Where I live, I have to be very discrete when taking guns to/from my car.:(
The SU22 fits this also

My garand, it's just awesome

second, my ar15. I shoot it much more often due to cost of ammo, and I've come to love it.

third, I hardly ever shoot it but my marlin 94c in .357
It's just sexy

Two Win Mod 70's

When "sneaking and peeking" in close (East Texas Piney woods) cover for deer, it's the 1980's vintage Mod 70 Short Action Carbine. Push feed. Weighs about 6 lbs. Chambered in .243 Win. Scope is Leopold Vari-X III, 1.75 - 6X. Really bright in dimly lit wooded areas.

Very compact and light weight. Short barrel is easy to carry in close cover. Nice blue metal finish, nice wood.

For sitting in a box stand overlooking a feeder in open terrain, my Win Mod 70 Classic Featherweight chambered in .270 WSM. Controlled round feed. Scoped with a 1998 Pentax Lightseeker 3-11X43 AO, it can really "reach out and touch.." deer, elk, antelope, etc.

Love the Schnabel forend, and the Fleur-de-leis checkering pattern. A thing of beauty, and a joy forever.:D

my favorite rifle isnt even the one i like the most... its the one im most partial and attached to since it was my first high powered rifle... which is an M38 mosin nagant... inaccurate as an AK, kicks like a mule... but what can i say?.. ive had it a while

Remington model 760 , fast followup shots and utterly reliable . This question was about rifles , right , not cartridges ?

Squirrel hunting with this one....

If I could only have one...it would be my '94 Timber Carbine chambered in .444, good for everything from squirrels to elephants depending on how I load it.

My .17hmr $177 from wal mart with a $80 barska 4x24 scope. I LOVE this lil' gun. It is in my ZR2 blazer most of the time as I look for new T.O.O. (Targets Of Oppotunity)...usually the furry kind.

50 rds a week easy.

3 shot group with CCI TNT rounds, hanging on my fridge. two inches high for long range shots. at 110 yards from a gun vise. Not bad for a sub $300 package. I have yet to see better!!

My favorite rifle is a Sako. I'm just not sure whether its my Sako .17hmr, my Sako 22-250, my Sako Bavarian .308 ,or my Sako Finnwolf .308.
