Mine was a Rohm RG24 that my grandmother left to me when she passed away..

First gun I bought for myself was my Glock 30

First one I purchased NIB, was when my Dear mother passed on, something I'll always tresure deeply, was a Ruger MKIII .22/.45,SS with a 6".7/8 , The Hunter, she would of loved to plink with it all day long , Dads little Colt Dick Spl. was too much recoil for her. I now mostly only buy on special occaisions, Re-tirement, Ruger .44mag. Carbine, when I won my disability hearing, Colt 1911 Defender, pump shotgun broke during Deer season, lost a wall hanger, ejection arm broke after first shot, looking for a Rem. 1187 slugger. Good thread, and thanks for the time...><>..EK-OUT.! :D

My first handgun was an RG .22 western style six shooter my dad gave me for christmas when I was 12. It was a cheap pot metal gun, but I thought it was the greatest thing in the world. Ejector rod broke shortly after I got it and had to use a stick to punch out the empty shell casings. Had fun with it for several years. Wish I could remember whatever happened to that old gun.:)

My very first was a CO2 air pistol that I got in Greenwood Lake NY in 1970. I left it with my dad in Manhattan when I went off to college. My next purchase was in 1986, a used S&W Model 19 that I got for $200. Still have it, even used it to qualify for FL carry permit last year. My mother just sold her apartment, and as we were packing to move, there was the old CO2 air pistol that I gave my dad so many years ago. That one will go into a box for preservation.

First handgun I ever shot would have to be my grandpa's old .22 8 shot revolver when I was 10. Just turned 21 this year, first handgun I purchased is a Glock 21 Gen 4. Love it so far.

P.S. To all my fellow men and women who are currently serving along side me thank you. And to all the veteran's or families of vet's thank you as well. :)

Got a Daisy CO2 BB pistol as a young teen.

Shot a High Standard on NROTC college team, but it was owned by USN.

A .22 Browning Buckmark Silhouette was the first real" pistol to come home with me.

My first handgun was a Smith & Wesson 22A (.22LR). Yep, I still have it and like it a lot. Solid work horse that is lots of fun to shoot. DK the round count but I think it's over 10K.

My first center fire ('real') hand gun was the Beretta 92FS and of course I still have this one (and I always will). It continues to be my favorite gun. Super reliable (100% with all ammo under all conditions), very accurate, looks great, and most important, lots of fun to shoot. These things shoot as nice as my .22's do.

My first handgun was a S&W Sigma 9mm it was not bad for a first pistol. I sold it for what I had in it and purschased a Kimber. That was a mistake and it is long gone too.

My first handgun I bought when I was first legally allowed to buy one, at 21, was a Smith and Wesson Sigma 40F and I bought it back in 1996. I have since bought quite a few more handguns of greater price and quality. Even though the S&W Sigma is considered "cheap", it's a great gun, very reliable and quite accurate. I would trust my life with it. My only regret was that I got it chambered in 40 and not 9mm back when I was not as able to afford the more expensive ammo as I am now. I still have the firearm and it's still fun to shoot!!!
