What handgun would you go back in time to buy if you could?

I never should have let go of the Remington Rand 1911A1 that was manufactured the day I was born in 1943. I'd buy that one back in a minute.

I would "re-buy" the S&W 547 9mm revolver I bought new, and then traded for something else, purely for collector value. I've been told only around 10,000 of these guns were produced.

I agree with the 547. I would also go back and buy a snubby SW Model 63 and SS snubby Model 66's.

I would also like a set of 4 barrel Sharps derringers in various calibers for the historical end. Maybe some new Webley-Fosbery auto revolvers.

Then try to get one of the Lugers in 45 ACP for grins.

not asking much just 2 years....NAA ranger break top. I would prob buy all 500 then sell in bundles of 100 consecutive serials

the model I've sold and repurchased the most is the standard frame glock. The couple I have know I'm keeping. As for ones that got away there was a second model match target colt woodsman 90% with box that I could have picked up for less than $500 but you can't have them all and you can't take any of them with you :)

I'd buy the Iver Johnson Sirhan Sirhan used before he did, file down the firing pin and then return it in time for him to buy the gun.

1911 thunder ranch 45 even though I don't care for 45s. It was used for $450.00 I always thought a thunder ranch would be accurate

Browning Hi Power

Lately I have been bitten by a 'collection' like bug whereby I want to collect historical pieces that still have some practicality left in them as well (that is to say not just a pure 'safe queen'). I am now looking to find a 'good deal' on a Browning Hi Power or FEG copy that's reasonable--easier said than done to be sure. It's amazing what even some 'fair' condition historical guns command like, for example, a Luger .
