Ruger Old Army, 7.5" stainless steel with adjustable sights. Bought it in... 1983, I think. Didn't buy another gun until AWB94 expired. Been making up for lost time ever since
I spoze that since I passed on all the family firearms to my #1 son that I am left with a FIE derringer in 38 spl that I can't seem to figure out how to get rid of. I picked it up cuz it seemed small and handy and I could stuff a couple of snake shot shells in it to carry when I was fishing. Only problem was that the flat topped shells would not seat...
Next in line is a M13 S&W that I carried as a service sidearm. Picked it up around 1975 or so.
My first was a ruger 22 bull mk 1 or 2 dont remember but it was stolen 2 years ago. Well last night I get a call from Georgia police saying they traced a firearm back to my mom (who signed for it back in 84 since I was 16) to a high profile armed robbery. I was really surprised. He said it might take awhile but they will contact me and ship it to me. Who knows what it looks like after 2 years of abuse.
My longest-owned handgun is a Springfield Omega Match 10mm, given to me by my father when I turned 21. I had also bought a gun when I turned 21, but have recently sold it. A Taurus 24/7 Pro .45.
