Concealed??? Holy crap! If you can carry THAT concealed, then brutha, you're big and strong enough that you don't even need a pen knife! I guess there are advantages though; you'll never be blow away by a hurricane!
I have a Taurus 85UL, also. I am just trying to gather others' experiences with this gun. Is yours the aluminum alloy frame with stainless barrel and cylinder? How many non-plus P rounds have you put through it? How many plus P? When was yours manufactured? Have you ever experienced any problems with it?
I carry way too many different makes/models of handguns but here I go:
on-duty:
- Sig P229 (.40 S&W)
off-duty:
- (currently) Steyr S40 (.40 S&W)
- (current BUG) Kahr PM9 (9mm)
- (occasional BUG) Kel Tec P3AT (.380 ACP)
- Kimber Combat Carry 1911 (.45 ACP)
- Beretta 92 FC Type M (9mm)
My off-duty carry is dictated by my dress and mood at the time. I'm "evaluating" a newly purchased Kahr P9 Covert and may make that gun my permanent hot weather off-duty CCW....carrying the P9 Covert and my PM9 will simplify things since I'd only need to carry one type of magazine for both guns.
Kel tec P-3AT, Kimber Pro Carry, Glock 36, Smith 36-------Oh, not all at once! When I can carry a big gun it might be a full size 1911, Glock 21, or a Witness 10mm.

I need to update my previous post which was accurate at the time. Due to recent developments, my S&W Model 60 revolver is now my backup nightstand gun. I'm now carrying a CZ P-01. 14 in the magazine is better than 5 in the cylinder.
