What caliber was your first handgun??

Although I didn't own it at the time, essentially my grandfather's 1920s Colt New Service in .45 Colt, which was often my companion in the woods as a teenager. :D

The first one I bought for myself was my faithful Browning Hi Power 9mm. I bought a Smith & Wesson 915 9mm a couple years later with the idea that it would be a more ideal carry weapon, but it was so quickly shamed by the Browning that I sold the 915. :o

70's was the Dan Wesson MASSIVE 44 magnum. It was soooo heavy ...oh did I mention it was Stainless Steel. We used to have hand loading wars to see who could get the biggest flame after dropping the hammer.

Those where the days.

My first hand gun was a Beretta M9 9mm, military issue.

There have been many since then but the Beretta M9 will always have a special place in my heart. (Kind of like women, I suppose!) :D

FIE Titan 25 acp because I couldn't afford a 45

I saved and saved and saved the 379 dollars for my first handgun I ever bought new. A Colt MK IV Series 80 in 1984. I carried it today :)
