EdInk, maybe they'd be easier to deal with. OK, so maybe they took the Kimber Pepper blaster idea and upgraded it, think re-loadable cartridges, maybe, with a laser, (of course, why not), and an attached cup holder.
Ditto on the single stack hunch--That's where the money is right now for all of the manufacturers whether they like it or not (I hear the margins are a lot less for them as opposed to the pre-compact CCW revolution). Did anyone see the "trend" at Shot Show last month?
I'd like it to be a Schofield revolver... or a K frame sized revover with an internal hammer like the 640. But I'm sure it will end up being something involving black plastic, and magazine.
I've been around firearms for roughly 30 years or so & interested in handguns/combat type weapons since 1985 or so.
I agree with a few forum members that the "new" M&P may be a striker fired single stack sub-compact with red laser aimer in 9mm/.40S&W/.357sig.
A high tech green laser aimer & Novak type or XS night sights would be smart, along with Hogue/Kahr type rubber grips.
Smooth, rounded edges like a SIG Sauer SAS pistol may help also.
