S&W "Something big coming April 12th 2012"

It's listed as "Allocated" on the Davidson's site with no options to purchase, which is irritating, since all the LGS use Davidson's. Buds doesn't seem to have it listed yet either.

A real man gun is made from wood and metal. This P938 would fit the bill for a single stack 9.

So they screwed up and made it too big for a pocket.
Height is crucial.

I don't think it is being marketed as a pocket pistol, at least not pants pockets. While it can be used for home defense, it can also be easily carried in purses, coat pockets, belly bands, and can be rather easily concealed in a waistband holster.

I think of handguns as full size, compact, sub-compact, and mouse gun size. This falls clearly in the sub-compact size. The Kahr CM9, on the other hand, straddles the fence between mouse gun and sub-compact.

Kahr realized what was needed and built it.
A 9mm the size of a Walther PPK so it can fit in a front pocket.
Everybody else seems to miss the boat.

After all these years they still own that niche.

Everybody else seems to miss the boat.

You should include yourself in that statement and not say "Everybody else".

Kahr realized what was needed and built it.

S&W realized an unfulfilled market and decided to give the market another choice to fill it.

Simple as that.

Gee, I was sooo excited about this announcement that I forgot to even see if they had one at their booth at the Expo during the NRA convention this week!

I did drool a bit over the Springfield Armory XDs 45 ACP single stack though!!!
