Ground floor: Bersa Thunder 380.

Upstairs: Walther P99 AS for me, H&K P30 for my wife, bedside. Both in 9mm, both hollow point.

Alarm system is on at night, two dogs sleep on the stairs landing.

Have not figured out what to carry in case of meteorites. Might get spare mag.
 
Smith and Wesson 1911PD w/ Winchester 230gr. JHP. It will have a TLR-1s just as soon as I get around to ordering it. I have been holding off to find one locally but haven't seen one yet.
 
Uberti Walker, cap and ball revolver, 44 caliber unloaded and a Ruger Old Army cap and ball revolver, 45 caliber, loaded. Both on my desk about a foot from my hand.

Sitting here in my bedroom, just a few feet away in the nite stand is my all steel go to pistol, S&W 4006TSW loaded with .40S&W Winchester 180gr Bonded JHPs, with a second mag sitting right next to it loaded with the same ammo. In my safe just a few feet from the nite stand is my go to carbine, Bushmaster BCWA3F16, 16" heavy bbl A3 flat top carbine, with a 30 round mag loaded with 5.56 Lake City 62gr green tip FMJs, and other mags loaded with 55gr FMJs.

Wow does that bring back memories as it was the first handgun my Dad ever let me fire--one never forgets his first time...;)Classic .38 that still holds true today. In many ways, the .38 seems to have been relagated to the heaps of history for reasons that escape me in that there are a plethora of .38 CCW snubbies.

Pietta Model 1851 Confederate Navy .44-Caliber Revolver. I'm at my dad's house and he is a big black powder fan. He swears that his .44 will "hit just like a .44 special."

on My wifes side of the bed is an Iver Johnson 25acp with 50grn. JHP's
I know it's not much of a BG stopper but it's just back up to mine.
When and If I'm not home she cuddles up to both guns. :D
