S&W 642 with Gold Dot 135 short barrel +p's is sitting on the desk beside me.

If it wasn't 1 am it would be in my front pocket and I'd have a Ruger LCP in my back pocket loaded with Winchester PDX1 as well.

Only have two and they are both on me. Kel Tec P-11 loaded with 10+1 115gr FMJ and a Sigma SW40VE loaded with 15+1 Winchester Ranger 185gr JHP.

Those were my first two guns and both were a joy to own but i felt it was time to upgrade now the gun i reach for is my springfield armory xd40 subcompact and i love my new acquisition.. never leaves my side.. i even get to share the same winchester ranger 180gr from my sigma oh the joy

About the 38, I got the idea I needed a 458 last summer. Shot one and asked myself why do I need to punish my self. Got my 38's out and have not looked back. A great round and fun to shoot.
 
MAGNUMWHEELMAN: It should be pointed out that you are creating a bad situation on TFL. What, you ask? Large amounts of JEALOUSY... your rig is a sight to see and I know you are proud as can be, but the problem is that I look at your pic and ask " Where did he go so right and I go so wrong???" (This is where I insert smiley face) It is a truly fine looking piece and you should be proud to own it. Enjoy
 
thanks... I'm really lucky that I have a retired tool & die guy as one of my best friends... he's just looking for things to do to keep busy, so I have more customs than most can, both because of his skills, & what he charges me to do the work
 
If at home, I don't know about closest, but the first one I will try get to is a double barrel 12 ga. with #1 buckshot.
