P320 Subcompact 9mm range results and ammo selections. Pictorial review.

What grip module does the compact ship with? Looking specifically at the SIG-320C-9-BSS.

All the ones I have handled/seen come with the "Medium" as standard. I wear a Medium glove and the grip fits me nicely. I haven't seen the modules available yet individually by retail but I haven't looked in a bit.

The funny thing is that the reference to the out of battery safety is new to the site... Since they updated it to the new style a month or so ago, when the rifles were added to the main page.

So I am trying to confirm if it is a new change being put out in the wild.

The sub compact being newly released seemed a likely candidate to find the change.

Need mystro to take a more pics... LOL

I've always been impressed with what I've called the "elegant simplicity" of the Glock design. I'd argue that the new 320 (and maybe the 250 series) demonstrates what some might consider an even "more-elegant simplicity" in the SIG approach.

Guess I'm going to have to get one, one of these days.

Once broken down, the 320 is pretty simple.

The only complication is the extra bar to deactivate the sear for disassembly... And that not really very complicated.

I would argue that the M&P and XD lines are just as simple as a Glock.

Very few moving parts.

The Sig DA/SA is actually pretty simple...

But then everything seems simple to me when compared to a Cz 75b trigger mechanism. Not that the CZ is incomprehensible, just a bit more involved than other designs.

Yup... I am beginning to wonder if the tabbed trigger bar is an early prototype, and the website has some outdated pics on it.

Seems odd that they would use old info/pics on the new site... But site design and development can take a while. More so when they are as interactive as that one. So that could be the reason, it was being worked on for several months.

I just checked both of my new production P320's and they both have this one. I bought them both in January.

For what it's worth, my serial num starts the same 58B00 as the pic shows.

I am seeing the grips at $47. That's a lot. Plus at least a mag to fit it.

The x-change kit is less than a $100 away from a sig 2022.

The reset is as long as a glock.

The trigger is the heaviest of the new striker crazed guns (PPQ, VP9, TP9SA)

Call me crazy. I don't get the P320.

There are comparisons of the 320 and vp9... And the results are a wash.

It's pretty evenly split on those who prefer one or the other.

It's a good pistol with lots going for it. Listed pull weights are deceptive on a manufacturer site. The pull is smooth and it breaks cleanly, and the reset is respectable.

I don't need the exchange kits for caliber or size swap. The grips are a little pricey though.

And I for one don't care for the 2022...

I have started to get some real interest in this gun. I do not understand why the factory specs list the frame material as stainless steel and the gun is obviously polymer.

Misprint on the Sig Firearms web page?

I jumped on the gun and ordered the compact yesterday but am now wondering if I jumped too fast. If you Google the factory web site, you see info about the Sig polymer striker fired gun and when you check the specs, they are different.

Do you suppose the are referring to the FCU as stainless steel?

If I can pick one item Sig Sauer did with the new P320 that is better, is put an all metal recoil spring Assy. in it.
IMHO it's a better item then the non metal guide rod and non metal spring retaining caps used on the Walther PPQs.Assy.
HK went with an all metal Assy. in their new VP9s.

One thing that always makes me think twice about a firearm Mfg.,is when they because of their marking people, rush a new firearm into production then start making changes to them right away.

Like the changes Sig has made to their P320 modulator Assemblies, just how does a buyer know what modulator assembly do they have in their P320,and just why did Sig make these changes?

You are right. You can tell it is a high quality guide rode multi spring set up. Also either P320 sights or night sights are steel and excellent quality right out of the box.
