High speed handgun pictures

Go ahead, you can freely put them on your desktop :)
Just remember to click pictures big because they're 3000 x 2000 in res.

The pictures are so unbelievably clear... that I had a short moment of panic. At the website, I'm looking at the big .50AE sending bullets and the next image I see just for all the world looks like a lead semi-wadcutter. I'm about to pen a quick e-mail noting that sending cast lead bullets through a Desert Eagle is a recipe for a wrecked gun... when I think for a minute to take my focus off the bullets, and back to the handgun. (which is no longer the desert Eagle, of course) :p

No flames like magnum flames!

Nice, I wasn't aware them though.

But let's start to play big - .500S&W Magnum big. This is just a failed shot and acts as a teaser what is about to come.

Thanks for the photos. Very interesting. And thanks as well for the choice of handgun. The Benelli MP90. I have an MP95 Atlanta and these nice handguns just don't get enough air time or review time.
But I will add that it may be the design of the Benelli that adds to the detritus of unburned powder leaving the barrel in that it's actually only 3" long. I've always wondered how such short a barrel can be part of a design that is so accurate, but it must be true that such a short barrel contributes to the likelihood of more unburned stuff than a Model 41 or some heavy-barreled Ruger.
