best revolver you have ever owned/shot

A ruger flattop 44 with custom handmade grips. Its seen better days but its still my favorite by far.
"Best" can mean many different things. If I were to go by smooth action and accurate shooting, my top three in no particular order would be:

Have to be my stainless Redhawk. It was my first handgun, my 16th birthday present. It had a pretty good trigger from the factory that only got better with use. Still have it, only shoot it once or twice a year now.
I have a few revolvers and shot a few more. Among my own is a Python and I owned a smattering of Colts over the years that failed to impress me.
I am impressed with the quality of Freedom Arms Premier grade revolvers but am not really a big fan of S/A revolvers.
I enjoy S&W revolvers, K frames particularly, but my favourite by far is my Korth and the few other Korths that I have shot. An honorable mention should also go to the MR 73 that I have had the pleasure to test extensively.

Would have to give the vote to my S&W 66 stainless 4 inch Combat Magnum with a hammer and return spring upgrade and polished moving parts. Added a set of Safariland right side palm swell grips. Out to 50 yds. it will go toe to toe with my K-14 6 all day long and shoots just the cutest little groups in double action I have ever seen.

"best" is always hard to define. At the top of the list, grouped together all these are #1 for me: Ruger Old Army, Ruger Redhawk .44 mag. and Ruger Super Single-Six .22lr.

I am quite fond of my S&W M57. Shoot the 22's more, but it is very sweet.
I just have four revolvers and my Dan Wesson 15-2V6 used to be my favorite. It's the prettiest but the trigger isn't nice. Picked up a 4" S&W 15-3 last week for $280. Most of the finish is worn off and she doesn't have original grips. Looks as if she's barely been fired, though. The action is smooth as butter. While she's not in great aesthetic condition, I think I found my new favorite revolver. I'm growing fonder each day of the "character" that she has.
After S&W introduced the 625 of 1989 in a 5" version I passed. Some time later, both the 3" and 4" versions were introduced. I bought two 3" and a 4"....The 3" 625's were the best of the breed for me. Incredibly accurate, Great looking, and fast......Yep, sold them all. If only I had known....Zebulon
My favorite is my near mint 6VH Model 715 Dan Wesson I got so cheap, $269 plus shipping, with the original box, a holster, a gun rug, custom sights, 3 grips, and some parts, that I had to wonder what was I missing and why wasn't anyone but me and some other guy bidding on it? Why did he let it go so cheap? I was so relieved when the gunshop called to tell me it was in and it "looked really good". There was one on GB recently that went for about $650, and it wasn't as nice as mine is.
The S&W 28 I had was a close second. It had the target hammer and trigger, with an action job. It had a lot of bluing worn off, but was in great shape otherwise. I missed getting it back 20 years after I missed it by a dollar on GB! It looked exactly the same as the day I sold it. I always wondered what it had done during all those years.
In third would be the Dan Wesson "Frankengun" that I got when I went to a gun store that was going out of business and bought a very heavy box of "parts" for $50. There were enough parts to build an entire gun, which I did while eating lunch in the car afterwards. I made a ton of money on that deal, I kept two of 6 barrels in the box and sold the rest. There was a ton of stuff in there, a couple of cylinders, dozens of springs and several hands, etc. I sold most of it and still have some of the parts left. Never needed anything but a hand spring and a grip screw in any of DWs since then.

Dan Wesson in .357 magnum I bought back in 1973-74. 6" barrel, my most accurate pistol but way too heavy/large for conceiled carry.
