Thanks! Yes, these shorty M1s - Tankers & Shuff's Mini-Gs - generate an addiction once you shoot them.

I guess you could argue that S.A.'s 16" SOCOM gets you to about the same place, but with the "benefit" of being mag-fed rather than clip-fed. :confused:

Olympic K 16 5.56 full stock, Burris AR 332 scope home made 3 point sling. If you zoom in on the rear of the forearm you can see the 3rd contact point.
 
Philosophy of use is gonna depending on the person. It would make sense for somebody who works on a farm and worries about coyotes to carry some form of scoped rifle to protect livestock. Whereas a guy that takes his truck back in the woods to cut wood on the weekends should carry a pump shotgun for closer encounters. Me personally, I think a short pump action 870 is best.
