Your next 3 to 5 gun acquisitions planned?

Order is not important

S&W M&P 15-22
S&W M&P 9mm
AR-15 in 5.56, Brand undecided
12 guage, Brand undecided but leaning towards Mossberg
Colt Mustang

Fortunately, for my bank account anyway, my short list is getting shorter.
Unfortunately for my bank account, my short list has gotten shorter.:D

1. Taurus 992 22LR/22Magnum revolver
2. Charter Arms Bulldog Stainless 44 Spcl. snubbie
3. CZ 75. Either 75BD, or SP01. Haven't decided yet
4. Stevens Model 59 410 bolt action shotgun. Just because that was my very first "all my own" shotgun when I was a kid. The original long gone, before I realized the importance of rule #1.:D

1.) Sig Sauer P229
2.) Arsenal AK in 7.62 or 5.45 (undecided)
3.) Glock 23
4.) Lionheart Industries LH9c
5.) Beretta CX4 Storm with 92FS magwell (already have the matching 92FS and 30-round 92FS magazines)

Only one more type will be bought (now age 59): a first "carry" handgun. The only handgun-so far-has been the WW2 Sauer 38H.

It will soon be a Sig 232 for "carry". If it's any larger, or I don't really like the style or it lacks a decocker for a Lefty, then it would not be carried anyway.

I'll pick up a brass frame navy 44 from Cabellas next week (contrary to some opinions brass frames are quite sufficient with light loads), especially at $150.:)
I also want a Cimarron open top 38, maybe this year yet.

1. Another Daniel Defense AR
2. Ruger 10/22 Takedown
3. Glock 21 Gen 4
4. Another Remington 700 SPS or Savage Arms 10 FCP

My fantasy list is too extensive too list always something out there I can upgrade to. The realistic list much shorter
1. Rossi circuit judge .45 long colt/.410 short stroke lever gun
2. Howa .204 stainless fluted, red black boyds laminate thumb hole stock, leupold vx6 scope
3. Remington 7615 .223 full camo, bushnell banner 1-6x40 camo scope to suit
4. Akkar 3 barrel hog stopper 12g 20" barrels full camo, aimpoint red dot scope
5. A good lawyer to handle my divorce, promised wife I'd stop at 16 and that was a few ago now,

1. Winchester SX3 20 ga.
2. Sako 6.5 x 55 or Winchester M70 7mm - 08
3. S&W 17/617 used
4. Springfield or Kimber 4" Officers 1911 SS
5. Most anything at a good price

1. Browning Auto 5 in 12 gauge
2. A quality k98 mauser in 8mm
3. Mauser c96 (I've always wanted one:)) Preferably a bolo
4. Scofield revolver 3-1/2 inch barrel
5. Ruger Vaquero

My next planned acquisitions, in no particular order:

1. A S&W 686
2. A .45. I'm thinking a Ruger, SR45 or SR1911, but that's not set in stone.
3. An AR-15
4. A Glock

Crossed 3 off my list

I've got the first 3 off my list.
1. Ruger 10/22
2. Glock 19
3. Ruger sr1911 commander.
Wednesday I'll pick up a 20gauge 870 and maybe start a new "next 5 list"
Nothing against the shield. Just haven't had time to get my ccw yet.

I smell what you're steppin' in. I divide my want list into 5 parts, the first three parts are the lists of guns and bows that I *will* get, gawd willing and the crick don't rise. The last two parts are the "probably won't or definitely won't" ever actually get. Specifically, I've got these categories:

1. Highest priority (within 1-2 years)
2. Medium-high priority (within 3-4 years)
3. Medium priority (5-10 years)
4. Medium-low priority (11-20 years or never - can take or leave)
5. Lowest priority (mild interest in but probably would never get)

And yeah, the last two categories (probably won't ever get) are by far the longest - thankfully I'm realistic nowadays.

Mine have changed some already....

I just reduced my highest priority list from about 5 guns to just 3, due to budget constraints and a recent acquisition:
--Tanfoglio Witness Steel Hunter longslide 10mm
--CZ 527 American in .17 Hornet
--Marlin 336Y 16" .30-30 (*IF* I can find one put together correctly)

I moved the others to my 'Medium-High' (3-4 year) list, so that includes now:
--an SBR'ed 11.5" AR15 dedicated to .22lr with a Cenier conversion, slide-fire unit, and Trijicon RMR-DI (my "full-auto" .22lr)
--an SBR'ed & suppressed .357 max T/C Contender (dedicated to subsonic 'soup can' 230 wadcutters)
--RIA 1911 in .22TCM & 9x19mm
--Benelli Montefeltro Silver 20 ga, and
--16" middy AR15 in 6.5 grendel
...as well as a bow and two suppressors ('oil can' and Silencerco Sparrow).

And there's only 1 gun and 1 bow on the 'Medium' (5-10 year) list; about 10 guns on the 'Medium-Low' (11-20 years or never) list; and about 25 guns on the 'Lowest' (mild interest in only) list.

Yeah, OCD.... :D

1. Aug A3 CQC
2. SR-25
3. .308 bolt gun (Kimber 8400 adv tact? Rem 700 SPS tact?)
4. AAC 762-SDN-6 (although technically not a gun)

That's enough.

1. Mcree Precision Chassis for my Remy 700. (Not a gun but costs as much as one)
2. Smith 686
3. Ruger LCR 357
4. Glock (their rumored to be single stack 9mm)
5. HK (45c, P2000sk, USPc, not sure yet)

1. Saiga 7.62x39 - Best AK-like rifle that's legal in NY.
2. KelTec SU-16, for the above reason. Or maybe a Mini-14?
3. A non-butchered AR-15, God-willing, we beat the SAFE Act (not holding my breath...)
4. Armscor M206 .38spl snub nose (if I move to FL)
5. A 1911 of some sort, most likely Springfield armory. (If I move to FL)

If you think I'm going through the moronic process of getting a handgun permit in NY, you're dreaming... :P

I can certainly do without a couple handguns, if it means keeping my privacy in-tact.
