Your next 3 to 5 gun acquisitions planned?

Now you mention it

I need to get a savage axis for a build in 6.5 swede I have planned, build an AR for a stripped lower I acquired, get my first nine(CZ-75 compact), and a .22 auto like buck mark or ruger MK II.

Not in order:

Colt 10mm Delta Elite Colt Custom shop with Pearl grips, among other upgrades.

Colt Grizzly, NIB or nearly NIB with Original box

DLO HK registered trigger box, capable of accepting a roller sear

Host for my newly acquired steel AR15 RDIAS

Upgrade to MK43 or E6 for my newly papered M60

Steyr Aug E3 with full auto parts as a host for my Steyr Aug F/A

I'm pretty much done for the time being. Only thing I really am looking to buy is a semi auto 22 rifle to go with my Savage Mark II. Really want a Ruger 10/22, also considering a Mossberg 702 mainly for the price and since I'm mainly just planning on adding a red dot sight and calling it good.

I already have a Mossberg 500 Field/Home combo, SAR B6P, Savage Mark II FV, and a Crosman Vantage air rifle. Can't afford an AR like I would like, so a semi 22 seems to round it out.

Wish List

In no particular order:

M38 and M39 Mosins

M1 Garand

Ruger sp101 in .327 Magnum

Ruger GSR

Milsurp Mauser (I'd like a 98K, but a Yugo is more likely)

Colt Delta Elite

Coonan .357

The list could go on and on ......

1. CZ 452/455 FS
2. 20" AR in 5.56 (probably a M-16A2 clone)
3. A two stamp AR in .300 AAC (SBR and suppressor)
4. A 4" .357 DA wheel gun, haven't decided between Ruger or S&W
5. Haven't really thought this far ahead, but maybe something like a CZ 75

I'm always on the lookout for certain guns but I'm not searching for them. I usually look for examples that are priced low because they're ugly, dirty, a little rough, weird chambering, fixed choke, etc. Partly it's the bargain hunter in me and partly I'm drawn to older guns that have some character marks.

If the price was right I wouldn't be able to pass on these:

Rem. 1100 LT-20
Ruger #1 International in 7x57 or .308
Browning O/U
Win. 94 (especially in .32 WS)
Marlin 336 in .35 Rem.

I don't have any handgun acquisitions planned but I never know what will strike my fancy. Come to think of it, a pinned and recessed Model 66 would be nice...

already lined up

Two purchases from a private source.

1941 manufactured Japanese rifle captured in WWII. Chrysanthemum still intact.

1962 manufactured for Sears Ted Williams model 20 gauge. Original owner has fired 2 rounds through it before putting it up.

My current plan for the next guns I want to purchase:

Springfield XDm, probably the 4.5 inch, probably .40 cal, possibly .45. This will be my primary home defense handgun, taking the place of the one I have now.

.22 rifle, semiautomatic (not available at Dick's Sporting Goods), probably a Ruger, Marlin, or Remington

.22 pistol, semiauto, probably a Ruger Mark III, Browning Buck Mark, or Ruger SR22. Others possibly, if I find a good deal

Semi-auto rifle in a service caliber, probably Ruger Min-14, possibly Auto-Ordnance M1 Carbine

Shotgun, 12 gauge or 20 gauge, primarily intended for home defense. Mossberg 500 most likely

Lastly, a smaller pistol for concealed carry. Was thinking of a Kel-Tec PF-9 or Ruger LC9, but now thinking about the Springfield XDs

Sorry, that's six, not five. But that pretty much completes my plan. A lot of the guns I currently have will be sold concurrently with these purchases.

1) Beretta 92FS or M9A1
2) Browning High Power
3) Ruger 22/45 or Browning Buckmark
4) Ruger Vaquero .357 5.5" barrel or some Ruger single action revolver

The first two are classics, I don't need them but I'd be collecting for the historical interest, and maybe they'd become favorite 9mm handguns.

For 3), due to the continuing frustration finding 22LR, there's no point right now, and I already have four different 22LR handgun options.

4) I have a heritage Rough Rider in 22LR and really enjoy shooting it, so something better quality might be fun.

Mine generally aren't planned. They just happen. But when the next one 'happens' I'd prefer it were a pre-safety 336 Marlin in 35 Remington.

Beyond that? No plans.

I need another S&W 22 revolver,,,

I love pairing rifles with an appropriate handgun.

I have paired a Henry Acu-Bolt .22 rifle,,,
With a Rossi 511 .22revolver.

I also have an H&R Sportsman .22 rifle,,,
With an H&R 929 Sidekick .22 revolver.

Another is a Mossberg 702 Plinkster .22 rifle,,,
With a Ruger 10/22 Mark III .22 pistol.

I have two more rifles I want to pair with a handgun,,,
One is a CZ-452 Military Trainer,,,
The other is a Savage Mk-II F.

I'm thinking a Model 17 S&W .22 revolver,,,
That would pair up very nicely with the CZ-452.

It's completely open what I will get,,,
To pair up with the Savage rifle.

A lot of it will depend on what shows up,,,
At The Evil Pawn Shop.

yes and no.... i have a rough idea, but due to finances its gonna be a little farther out than i would like. in no particular order

AR-15
22 range pistol
38spl snubbie
ruger 10/22 (savage mk 2 just not cutting it)
ruger GP100, .357 mag

Yes I do plan them.

1. A .22 Rifle - More than likely a Savage MKII

2. A S&W 642 for occasions I need something more discreet than the Glock 19.

3. An AR-15 platform rifle - I am likely going to try and build one to spread the cost out over several years.

4. A rifle in 30.06 or .308 with a laminate stock to hunt with. I love the sporterized Mauser my grandfather built for me and it is a great gun to hunt with; but it would be nice to have something I was less worried about banging around in the woods. I haven't looked much but the Savage Axis and Ruger American both come to mind as good options.

5. A semi-Auto shotgun; quite possibly a Browning Maxus.

1- A nice subcompact 9mm for deep CC
Frontrunners are a SS CS-9 S&W or one of the 3.5 barrel gen 3 SS variants
The Nano or a Glock 26 . The Sig 229 would be the frontrunner if were not SAO.
2- A 5 inch barrel or more 10mm
#1 is a S&W 1006 or 1026 to pair with my current 1066
One of the 1911 variants that have a ramp barrel and solid case support likely a Kimber or Rock Island.
3- A S&W standard not TSW 4013 to convert to a subcompact 10mm.
4- a nice older inexpensive ( under $400) High Power to mod into a EDC/IDPA shooter. Real Browning or FN would do fine. Match barrel, 3 dots, slick the trigger, remove the mag safe, custom high polish black finish no bite hammer checker rosewoods ect. Would be carried ( as I carry my current MK III adjustable sight HP) cond 1 cocked and locked strap under hammer as John Browning intended.
