Your next 3 to 5 gun acquisitions planned?

My "fun money" is pretty tigh right now due to some unexpected expenses so it may be awhile before I purchase another firearm. In fact, I'll probably buy a new gun safe first because mine is inadequate for what I have. After that, maybe a Walther PPQ 9mm and a Kel-Tec Sub 2000 in 9mm.

Unlike some, I do sorta' buy on impulse. I have purchased some of my favorite guns like that.

Will begin with the first of five, whatever it may be. Then I will buy the second of the five, and so on, in that order. Let us know if you need more help deciding how to buy in the proper sequence.

It does me absolutely no good to say, "X will be my next gun". Everytime I start looking for one make, model, or type of gun, I wind up buying something completely different.

The last example was a couple of weeks ago, when I went into my local gun store thinking of buying a shotgun, and wound up with a pristine Smith & Wesson Model 15-4. But the price was right, and I couldn't resist.

As my basic shooting needs are covered, there isn't anything I really have to have, so I can wait until I find a good deal on something I like. I don't currently own a .44 magnum handgun, and would like to find a Ruger Super Blackhawk; I would like to find a Remington 700 or equivalent in .300 H & H, just to have; mebbe a nice 12 gauge double barrel.

I'll make an accurate and infallible prediction of what everybody here's next five guns will be:

No, you don't owe me anything and yes, I'm always glad to help.

Springfield M1a Scout
Springfield mil spec 1911
S&W 638 .38
.357 Vaquero
and if the rimfire madness gives it a freakin rest a tube fed Marlin 60, if not then a S&W M&P 15 sport.

No particular order

-Ruger No 1 in .270 magnum or .458 Lott
-Winchester 94 Wrangler
-Savage 24VS
-Savage 24F-12
-Magnum Research .45-70
-some sort of old antique single shot, maybe a Stevens or Remington

My next purchase will probably be a Marlin 30-30. After that a 1911 of some sort. Also interested in a Tavor.

I've already bought 3 firearms this year so I think I better not press my luck with the wife and wait till next year to get anything else.

Right now the only two I am really looking at are a Smith & Wesson M&P 45c and an M1 Garand. I've been wanting another M&P 45c pretty much since I sold the one I had and I joined a group that gives me access to the CMP's Garands so I want to buy one in the near future.

My list is quite...extensive, and I frequently venture off of it.

I don't know if they'll be my next guns or not, but the M1917 and HK P2000 LEM are pretty high on my list. I'll likely be completing my next AR build as my soonest acquisition as I already have everything except for a trigger.

Since these are all pipe dreams anyway, what the heck:

Savage Lewis Gun in.30-06
Smith & Wesson .32 auto
Winchester 1873 new reproduction
CZ 75 in nickel
Spanish "Marina" .25 auto (don't ask)

:rolleyes::D:)

Wish List

Like others my list is long & distinguished, but here are a few I am def. in the market for...

SIG 1911 Nightmare 5"
Dan Wesson Valor 1911
CZ 97 (to match my 75)
Beretta 96 (to match my 92)
Henry Golden Boy, still haven't decided LR or magnum though

My Next 5

Here's my list, for now:

Springfield EMP
Daniel Defense V5 or 7 (1st AR - my Sig522 doesn't count)
CZ 97 (1st non-1911 in 45acp)
S&W 627 or 686+ (1st revolver)
Weatherby 270Win (Stainless)

I know what I want for sure, I just don't have the funds for all of it yet :o

In random order:
- 12gauge shotgun (Mossberg500 or Keltec KSG)
- 308 Semiauto (FN SCAR17S)
- RIA 1911 Tactical
- DD M4V1
- Arsenal SAM7SF

If I somehow hit the Lotto, add the Barrett M107 to that list...

Your next 3 to 5 gun acquisitions planned?

Yep, that's the question. Just a snapshot in time of some people's "in the market for" positions...

HA! No.

I have perceived needs covered. Firearm purchases are kind of a "random wander" through what's available, with an eye to improving the quality of what I have available to me.

I have in mind to find a Charter .44 Bulldog (or Taurus .44 snub, whatever model that is),just because the idea of a revolver chambered in a rimmed round with .45 ACP ballistics is interesting.

Beyond that? No idea.

I also try to keep a rein on covetousness.

gun acquisitions

like i said a while back what ever pops up. last few months put hurt on pocket book. 3 handguns and a rifle got to quit dont need any more and cant afford any more. didnt need these either.

I'm on the lookout for only one; a Jager 1873 revolver, 5 1/2" barrel, .38-40 caliber. Imported by EMF and Mitchell Arms a few decades back.

Probably 10-22's to turn into a Thompson, PS90 and maybe my ultimate image of a 22 precision rifle to go with my pimptastic creation.
