Whats your favorite and why? Mine are Colt Offical Police. I like the cal and the feel of the OP. Accuracy and looks are also great.
 
My current favorite is the Taurus Model 627 Tracker (in stainless).
Just a nice solid .357...one of the best from Taurus.
 
GP100,6",357..my 1st and favorite,although I may need to get one of every kind to properly judge!!:D
 
Colt Anaconda .44 Magnum. Stainless with an eight inch barrel.

Acuracy is great. It's a hoot to shoot heavy loads through. Smooth, light trigger. My wife loves to shoot it.

Others on the wish list may nudge it out of first place one day. Like TonyB, I haven't tried them all yet.
 
*&* Model 19, the Combat Magnum, with 4" barrel and round butt configuration. Mine is a an ex-U.S. State Department issue gun, one of the few that were made with a four-inch barrel and a round butt.

Why is it my favorite? Nothing balances and points like a 4" Model 19, and it has the most graceful lines to boot.

Second favorite is my 686 with the 2 1/2" barrel.
 
So many nice ones, can't choose one without makin others upset.

Any pre 1982 SnW in blued steel.

Queen of the tribe is probably 6" Model 19-2.

Best fit, finish and function, on average, seems to be the pre WWII ones.

I had hopes the new ownership, Safe-T-Hammer would jolt em back into makin em nice again. Boy was I ever wrong.

S&W Model 19, 2.5 or 4".

No other handgun has ever had the same combination of balance, power, ergonomics, reliability, etc. It is, in my view, the single most perfect and most useful handgun ever developed.
 
My favorite right now is my *&* 57. It's a Blued 6" .41 mag. This was the first gun I bought made by that company, and I've been impressed. I used to wonder why everyone else liked them.

It may have some competition when I get my 58 in a couple of weeks though. :D
 
My favorite revolver of all time is still the Smith & Wesson
model 28 "Highway Patrolman", in either the 4" or 6"
barrel length's.:cool: :) :D Nut'in like 'em N-frame Smith's.

The 3" versions!

Yep, any and all...

I have several including J, K, and L frame Smiths, and Rugers Six and SP series.

Nothin' else comes close for carry comfort and balance, in my hands.
 
My favorite revolvers would be my S&W model 13 with a 4 inch pipe, and my Ruger Security Six with the 2 3/4 inch tube. I have a few more favorites, but it would take up too much room to list them all.
 
My 5" 625-4

Why?

Well, it balances nicely and is almost recoil-free. It's a tackdriver with a sweet N-frame trigger. But mostly, well... a picture is worth a thousand words... :D
