who do you think makes the ugliest rifles?

i absolutely love savage, but i have to admit, they make some hideous looking guns. Regardless the look, they have always fired well.

Ugliest gun? Gotta be a Savage. Wonderfully accurate, or so I'm told, but to me, they put the plug in ugly. Looked it up in the dictionary. UGLY ... had a picture of a Savage 110.

Times change, tastes change. At one time Win 95's;Win 87 and 97 shotguns, and Rolling Blocks were ugly.Didn;t think much of old bullet nose(gun related) Studebakers Guinness,or Scotch whiskey.Pickled beets, for that matter. Now,I appreciate all those things.
I wouldn't call it the ugliest thing ever, but those raised wrap around panels on the otherwise fine M-70 synthetics leave me cold.
No fair picking on the Sten.Blake wrote "Exhuberance is beauty".Stens were used with exhuberance.

I hate bullpups.

AK's and Mosin's, bullpups and Savages are beautiful. ;)
For me, the award goes to Ruger. Maybe its that hideous muzzlebreak they put on everything. They've never been attractive to me.

Yep, some of them had 390 ford engines and were scary fast.

No, they didnt.

Yes they did, I had one. Was green and silver.

(A total of 40,994 Gremlins were equipped with the V8 engine from 1972 to 1976.)

Randall AMC dealership in Mesa, Arizona received AMC's endorsement to build 401 cu in (6.6 L)V8 powered Gremlins

A stroked ford 390 engine, would run low 13s in the 1/4 mile. Cost 2500 more for that option. Wish I still had it.

I also had this copy of hot rod it went with the car.

is that a drum mag on that hipoint

sure looks like it. it kindof looks homemade though, and a semi-thorough google search yielded none for sale, or anywhere, for that matter, further confirming the thought that it is a machine shop affair.

IMO, it just makes it look more stupid.
