Which handgun that you personally own does your heart like the most?

I am torn between my S&W 638 .38+p which is small, light, compact, barely noticeable 5 shot close and dirty, or my mistress the wonderful, accurate, high capacity .45 FNP. Which won my heart as I walked by her at the LGS. With my build I can conceal one almost as easy as the other.

HAH! and by the way

WC145... That is NUTS! Even the rear sight looks like it's melted down! That is incredible, and amazing! I sure hope it shoots as good as it looks?!?!?

That would be the first gun I bought online, a Dan Wesson 715 6" VH in almost prefect condition for $269 with the box, 3 grips, a pistol rug, a few parts and one of the junky plastic wrenches. Still one of, if not the best deal I've ever gotten on an auction.

For me its my Smith model 19 4" barrel 357 mag. Its the first hand gun I owned back in the early 70's and remains my very best favorite today. I shoot it and I CC it.

I searched long and hard for a good deal on a used Freedom Arms 44 Mag and found this one online. I love shooting this thing.

H&R 949 .22lr. It was the first gun my father purchased with his on money. He gave it to me acouple of years ago. The finish is not great, but it is very special to me

Beretta 92FS overall, fantastic shooter, extremely accurate.

Walther PPS for a carry gun.

Walther P99 for a shooter I can't own. Brother in law has one I shoot phenomenally (4 mags inside a silver dollar sized pattern at 15 yards, shooting standing and unsupported), but he refuses to sell.:D

While I'm fond of all my handguns the one I am most fond of is my first handgun, a 6" Royal Blue Colt Python. It was a family project so to speak for a job that I had at the time.

That sure is a nice looking 44 parasite. Is that a 10 inch barrel?

To answer the thread question, I'd have to say my model 83 454. Everything about these FA guns are like handling a Rolls Royce or a Ferrari. When you heft it and operate it, there's no doubt that it's pure quality. It is tight, and very very smooth. This trigger is unbelievable.

I haven't actually shot it for groups yet, but it hits everything I aim at. I know its the most accurate handgun I own. I don't miss with it!

Ammo for it is interesting. It absolutely will not take sloppy ammo. I have loaded two rounds so far that would not chamber in it. More interesting is that fully 50% of a box of Winchester 250 gr JHP (X454C3) would not chamber in it. 10 out of the 20 factory rounds would not fit in my FA 83, what's up with that, Winchester?! :(

But the FA 83 is pure smiles.:D

WC145, you are just to cool! I can garuntee you that you have inspired many people with your picture. Nice real nice.

Well, this week it is my 586 that has a black mat finish from the factory. I obviously like all my pistols but the 586 never goes out of style, at least for me.

there is just something about the 6" smith & wesson 25 no dash that dad let me have..it was his bulls eye gun back in the 60's..

he never shot it with moon clips, but I do..:)

hitting steel plates,6/6 it knocks them down with authority, and they pop halfway back up..quite satisfying..

this one has it all.. soul, balance, sweet shooter, my favorite caliber, and family history..

Do I have to just pick one?

For a serious duty caliber I like my 1911 .45acp Dan Wesson Point Man Major the best.

For plinking accuracy and just sheer fun. I'd have to go with my .22LR Browning Buckmark.
