Which handgun that you personally own does your heart like the most?

I really like a couple of my Colt 1911's but the handguns that have a warm spot in my heart are the pair I use in Cowboy Action Shooting. A pair of blue/case hardened, consecutive serial numbered 5 1/2" Colt SAA's chambered in .44-40. I have been shooting them in matches for the last four years and they have had nothing but BP shot through them since they left the factory. When I'm not shooting them I like to just fondle.:D

The one I'll never get rid of

An Interarms made Walther ppk, a gift from my uncle, currently my off duty piece until I get a PPS, then it will retire. I have a couple other hand me downs that will never leave the family, but that one was my first and favorite.

I'm a fool for snub Combat Magnums in particular!

And Speed Six's also. The Ruger above is a Security Six I transformed into a round butt design using Secret Service Speed Six grips., sort of like an adjustable sighted Speed Six.

Not a handgun but a 22 rifle just an old Stevens style 22 with the tube mag.

My brother in law cleaned it up and refinished the stock for me before he sold it to me dirt cheap.

He did a beautiful job on it.

His name was Harry Lloyd and he was a lifetime Virginia resident, old school Virginia farmer,Army veteran and one of the finest human beings I ever got the privelege to know.

He's probably looking down from Heaven with his favorite White dog,Mutt right next to him wishing he had a shotgun ready for the next hawk that flew over his property.

The Big C got him after a decade long fight but them Virginia farmers put up a hell of a fight.

God Bless You Harry-we all miss you everyday.

A S&W 442. It was my grandmother's carry gun and after her passing it was pawned by another family member who should not of had it in the first place. My mother actually located it a year and a half later, bought it back and give it to me for my 29th b-day. It's served me well as my BUG in the years since.

Handgun dearest to my heart.

Model 66, 2 1/2". Carried this one concealed, on the job, for a number of years. Fits the hand well and is easy to control, especially with the Pachmayrs. My favorite range gun.

My Sig Sauer P226S X-Five in .40 S&W. Fully adjustable trigger, target sights, a dream to shoot. It runs like a sewing machine, fast and flawless.

Beretta Model 950B Minx

I have two pistols that I adopted from my father- a model 31 S&W police regulation and a Beretta Model 950B Minx. The Minx is my favorite. I love the feel it has in my hand, and I can't help but think of my dad when I clean it and handle it. I love just slipping it into my little hoslter and tucking it behind my back. It just feels good in my hand, even for a little pocket pistol.

My Smith & Wesson 4506. It was my fathers duty gun his entire career in law enforcement and it was given to me very shortly before he passed.

Smith 625 4" Performance Center. Just about the best .45ACP out there.

For a revolver, that's an empirical statement for me hands-down IMO. It's also a beautiful gun ($$$$) that will retain value years down the road as it practically owns that niche market (I really like the Taurus Tracker but I'm just saying...).

Tough..really tough. I'm positive I've already answered this..But every day this also changes. lol...Today it's SIG P226 in 9mm.

Tomorrow maybe it's my Colt 1911...I don't know. :)

One of the first ones that came to mind was this custom 5" Model 29 Smith & Wesson .44 Magnum:

But then I started thinking of numerous guns that I have history with. I carry guns for a living. My first duty gun was a Series 70 1911 that was built and rebuilt a couple of times as I was shooting IPSC with it as well as using it as a duty gun. After its second rebuild though, it was essentially retired and I started using plastic guns. For the heavy use it saw as a duty gun, I was amazed at how well the scratches and gouges were able to be hidden.

My 3" Kimber Ultra Carry II, with Chuck Rodgers stainless ramp insert, Cera-Koted frame, ignition parts and thumb safety replaced and tuned by Ken Crawley, TruGlo TFO sights, Crimson trace laser grips...and probably a few other things I'm forgetting.

I have waaaay more money in that thing than I'd ever get back, so I'll never sell it. But it is one accurate, reliable, easy to carry 1911. I own a DW and a Les Baer (and other 1911s) but that is probably the last handgun I'd let go of.
