Jennings J-22

The Jennings is the only handgun I've ever got rid of. Felt lucky to sell it for $60, it never would feed a full mag without jamming, and I never figured out exactly where those shots were going.

My brother was given a Jennings Nine which he subsequently gave to me and that one is quickly headed the same direction. The first shot out of a mag usually results in a stoppage that requires disassembly to fix.

It seems like Jennings is complete waste of money and time. Have not heard anything decent about this handgun, ever!

Are they still in business?

Nope.

They were sued out of existence a while back when a babysitter accidently pulled the trigger and shot a kid in the face while trying to unload one.

Except the company's assets were purchased by the foreman, and they went immediatelyback into production as Jimenez Arms.

Hk P7m8.

I got one about 10 years ago. I took it to the range for some fun and found that after I fired a round or 2, click. My thumb reached the mag release button and the recoil released the mag so it drooped to the floor. It did it 3 times in less than 20 rounds. I could have shaved the mag release off on the right side of the gun (I'm a lefty) but did not want to decrease the value of the gun. I sold it 3 days later. Maybe I will get a P7 with the mag release in the grip base.
The gun is heave for it's size but I like the squeeze cocker...:)

Rohm RG

I think that the RGs would get a lot more votes except they were such rotten guns I think they all got sold to the handgun buy back crowd !!! :barf:

Not sure if this is the most scientific of surveys.

Most brands included are quality brands, so even the "loser" Taurus is only faring poorly compared to other good brands, not the worst ones. How many, like me, would vote for Kel-tec if it was listed? Having to go to "other" affects the results.

Also, some of the "winners," like Steyr and Mauser/Luger, and Star, don't get "worst" votes because nobody much owns them. Steyr had the M1 a few years ago, there was a piece in Shotgun News recently about how bad that model was.

In contrast, brands that sell alot of guns will have more negative votes, even if percentage-wise they might be better than some others nobody buys in the first place.

Taurus doesn't rate with Glock or SIG, or a few others, but that doesn't make it the absolute worst.

.40 S&W Baby Eagle. Piece of junk right out of the box. It is one crappy shooting session away from me having the slide welded shut so I can use it as a door stop. If it fails at stopping doors I don't know what the hell I'm going to do with it.

Still waiting to see who votes for Para Ord.

As far as Mauser/Luger are concerned I think not many have experience with them or we would have had some votes based on their crapy magazines.

I tend to stcik with the more reputable brands but my father-in-law bught a KelTec of some kind. Very first range session it locked up tight. Not good for it's first outing.

My SIG P220ST is the most unreliable expensive jammomatic piece of crap I have ever owned. Th internal extractor is good for about 2000 rounds before it needs replacement, and the worst part is SIG doesnt care, worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Their motto should be from Exeter to Hell.

HI point

i have seen hi points go off by hitting the slide release on a fresh mag many of times with no fingers on the triger

RG,
just got back from an auction where a new rg (.25?) couldnt be given away!
finally someone bid 20 bucks and bought it. he said he thought it was "cute" and had never heard of RG before!
off the subject, the same auction saw a well used winchester !873 go for 960 bucks!
