Well I have, as mentioned before, a Taurus .45 Mill pro. In six months today for the first time I took it to my range. 5 magazines fire with 12 rounds each. I could not hit the target 25 yards away. Same complaint my two firends with different taurus 9mms. I thought may be I was just off target today. I loaded one mag of my colt 1911 .45 and 6 out of 6 within a couple of inches. I am not sure why is Taurus not hitting. One of my friend tells me that he tried from 10 feet and still could not hit!

I guess I've been lucky. I have a Taurus pt145, an AMT Backup .45, a Rossi .357 and two Kel-Tecs. The only problem I've had with any of them was an aftermarket mag for the AMT which spit its follower up out the ejection port.

The only bad gun I've ever encountered was a friend's Hi-Point 9mm which broke its trigger return on the First Round Fired. Unimpressive, but unlike some here I won't declare the entire line irredeemable junk because of one bad experience.

I guess since I have Luger P08, I am going to get me a Mauser 7.63 auto broomhandle!

Great thing to fire. Will have to look for one the stock as well.

No one seems to have problem with this old german machine pistol.

Jennings J22

I inherited one of these from my grandfather. I'm not really sure why he had it but I guess he wasn't really an aficionado. I think he mostly wanted something cheap that wouldn't put him out of having more liquor.

Anyway, total piece of crap. Aside from just feeling damned cheap, it jammed constantly and I think the safest place to be if someone was shooting at you with one was in front of the muzzle. Needless to say, it's someone else's problem now. :barf:

On 60 min. No Less

The Lama .45 commander clone is the worst I have owned. My wife was selected to appear on a 60 min. story on women and handguns.
It jammed twice on national TV...... True story!

Never had a really bad handgun as i researched before I buy. Most embarassing was my Detonics Pocket 9 I got March of 1984 for $395 NIB.
The first time OI shot it the bottom plate on the magazine fell off due to bad welds. Tried the other magazine...same thing happened. I brazed the plates on the mag and the gun worked just fine after that. The heavy pocket 9 was the smallest 9MM at the time. Because it was a blow back the recoil was a little more harsh than a Charter Arms Bulldog .44 in my opinion.

Let's see.

Lorcin 380. The magazine plate fell out when I loaded the gun along with the mag spring, follower, and ammo. Got a spare mag and it would jam every 2 rounds. It's a good thing these guys went out of business.

Grendel P-10. possibly the worst shooting piece I've ever owned.

Taurus pt 945. The mag would just pop out any time it felt like it. This gun truly had a mind of its' own.

I picked Taurus a buddie of mine has a (I don't know which model)single stack 9mm compact that has been nothing but trouble

High Standard Derringer

DM-101 .22 WMR
Looked nice. Fired 60% of the time. Sent it in to be repaired, cost @$100, no better.
