Grendel .380

No longer made-thank you Lord.Small auto that never worked right-sent back twice. Owner of gun shop finally couln't take it after he tried and gave me a good trade in.

I hate to say it. But my S&W 327 has been having light strikes which causes misfires.

My Taurus 608 has been way more reliable (100%) to date, but we'll see in the long run, but for now, it looks like I'm going to have to send it in. Ohhh, and the barrel is becoming loose too.

I have to admit, my Taurus does misfire on the ninth shot every time.

What about Beretta 92fs?

what about the reported problems with beretta 92 slide cracking issue?

I have not experienced it but have read about it and heard from ppl.

Also i have heard that beretta fails to feed +p rounds properly?

I had to hit "other." You didn't have Kel-Tec on your list. I will never spend my money on one of their pistols again.:barf:

<><Peace

NATO ammo is +p so I think the Beretta feeds them just fine. the M9 is a good gun, it just has a da/sa trigger and is on the large and heavy side for a 9mm.

+P Ammo

M9 might be designed a bit differently, but around early 1990s I read in gun magazines a lot of complaints about Beretta slide cracks.

How different is the commercial product from M9?

I have friend who tried to feed it SMG rounds but had problems. I never used SMG rounds in mine.

worst

AMT .22 mag

Second trip to the range, after firing a couple of rounds the front ramp sight flew off the barrel and over my head.

Somewhat of a jam-o-matic unless kept meticulously clean and wet!

Phoenix Arms HP-22. An absolute waste of $129. Refused to feed at least half the time. In a fit of rage, I threw it into the Coosa River.

Honorable mention goes to a Beretta 9000S. Had a bad extractor, had to use phillips screwdriver and hammer to remove spent cases. I found out quick why the guy only wanted $200 for it!:(

Glock voters

I would also like to hear from people who are voting Glock as their worst gun. I want to know what was the bad experience and with which model/generation? I ask this since I own 2 Glocks. My primary gun is Glock 19 ist generation. I have used it over 16+ years now and have fired in access of 20,000 rounds, but not a single jam or any sort of problem. I have fired SMG ++P ammo in it...the one which are specially designed for MP5s here in Pakistan, and have warning not to be used in pistols.

A Beretta Tomcat, fresh from the box, kept me busy for weeks and weeks. I got only 66 rounds through it (with numerous failure-to-feeds; it failed on every magazine that was run through it) before the trigger crapped out entirelly. Working with Beretta customer service was like trying to talk to your congressman. Never again.

Bersa Thunder .380, absolute crap.

Broke after three range trips and two boxes of factory ammo.

Very badly designed pistol with a two piece feed ramp that the factory manages to machine incorrectly, a complete jam-o-matic.

At any one time over the past six months there were about a dozen running threads over at BersaTalk started by purchasers of brand-new Bersa .380s seeking help and advice on how to get their jam-o-matics running.

All of these threads appear to have been replaced by a "sticky" posted by the gunsmith at Colorado Gun Works that states essentially:

"What do you expect at this price point?" (gee, I dunno, maybe a pistol that functions well and doesn't break after two weeks?)

and:

"You're limp wristing it!" (no, I am holding it with the "Klingon Death Clench" and it still has FTFs every magazine.

Biggest waste of money ever.

Luke .... Can you explain the pun in your signature, please? It seems interesting.

Hk Mauser Styer and Para Ord are doing pretty well in this poll so far...although I am still waiting to hear the Glock malfunctions.
