What's your favorite round

Torn between 45acp and 357mag......I guess if i could only have 1 it would be the 357 just b/c i love revolvers and i live in AK where you'll need that extra penetration against animals

I started hand-gunning by being very intrigued by the .357 magnum. I wound up being very enamored by the .38 special. The .38 special in hand guns at least. I still really like the mag but could shoot the .38 special non stop all day! If money was no object. :)

I really, really enjoy shooting both the 9mm and the .45ACP, but even more than those, and for the sheer fun and WOW factor, as well as the inherent accuracy that I'm able to achieve, I have to say that I like shooting the .357 MAGNUM most of all. Plus, the guns that it comes out of are just freakin' neat.

:D

For a slide gun, .45.
For a SA, .45 C
For a DA, the .357
and a rifle, 7.62 x 39
All around favorite will have to be the .357.

For more years than I care to remember it has been the .45.
Whether in ACP or Long Colt, I've had a love affair with that round.

Nowadays I may be changing my mind. I recently purchased a Savage Model 93 BTVS in .22 WMR. I'm loving that gun; most accurate gun I've ever shot. 2 days after that purchase I came across a Kel-Tec PMR-30 which followed me home. So, now, temporarily at least, the .22 WMR is high on my list of favorites.

I've realized that I have a love affair with just about all incarnations of the .38 round.

The Super .38, .38 Spl, and heck, even the .357 Magnum falls in there too.

EDIT: And I nearly forgot the 38/44 Heavy Duty.
