What would you do with $1000 right now?

I'd either put the $1000 toward a 5-inch Fusion 1911 in .45, made to order, or I'd buy an EAA Witness Elite Match in 9mm and have some $$$ left over.

I'd suggest the Security Six, they ain't makein' any more of them. If you've never fondled the slim factory grips on one, do it, you may be pleasantly suprised. If not you know the routine, and it's still a classic.

Ill add one I want to FIND

The Dan Wesson CCO ( a bit more than 1K but what the heck)

If you like the 220 carry as I do then look at the DW CCO

PB: instead of scratching that itch immediately, how about putting off the purchase till you can afford this?

Sig Sauer Mastershop series 220 X-6.

drool:-) Go for quality, not quantity. They are coming out with a 9mm conversion for the 220 X-6 .45ACP as well.

If I had the collection that you have, I would pick the five-seven. The sig would blend into the pile and you would eventually sell it for something else.:D The five-seven has always intrigued me as well. If it were a different choice I would say get something that is not comparable to anything you already have.

The Bushmaster may be a tempting diversion. But buying a couple thousand cartridges, to feed it, in case the government slaps a big tax on the rifle or ammo in the near future, may require a second mortgage? It was said earlier that you might like it more after using it, and that may be true.

Holy smokes, Srirachi and I are on the same wavelength. You said you weren't that into long guns. Do you have some? I have seen your very fine handgun collection and I say add a P7 or get a rifle like the Garand or M4 or even a good scattergun tech. 12GA.

I've been with my better half for over 24 years.

xxxxxxxn am I getting old.:D

So I feel what you're saying about the "does what he wants too." comment I made.

Herewith retracted.;)

I say Sig, but if I were you, (or you were me, whatever) it would be the AR. Thats my next purchase even though the availability is sketchy right now. I really really want an AR. :D

The Sig is a great choice, and given your list, the only way to go IMHO.

If I did what I want all the time I would be 500lbs and not own a darn thing because I would have spent my whole life on the couch watching Tv and eating junk food 24/7.
I did that.... and I'm still only 470! :)

Hookers and single malt are certainly not without merit.
Skip the hooker, get a bottle of the Macallum and the Sig.

The P220 elite is nice but I like the suggestion of a P7 or a HK45. Those new grips are incredible and look spider manny...You're into the whole comic book thing, right?

:p

I'd go with Sig and use the left over money for the Ruger SS.:)

or you can male a $1k donation to me! My ride can use a new starter and I can buy a Sig P2022 plus lots of ammo (if I can find them..poop)!
