.38 Special

I enjoy shooting 9mm, but I couldn't vote for something that excluded my favorite guns. I like the .357 Magnum, but the .38 Special is 'just right' in my revolvers. And I especially like plinking with them in the Marlin 1894CS. That is great fun all day long. Like a big bore .22!

adding my vote for .45 ACP ... I do like shooting 9mm also, and a current fave is .22mag, thanks to my fairly NAA Pug ...

.38 spc and 9mm are fun rounds to shoot id say but my number one favorite is the .45 acp. The recoil almost feels less then a 9mm... To me that is.

Looks like the 45acp is the Seabiscuit of this race!:D

I voted 22lr for price per shot (Fun factor $$$), but in my heart it's my .357mag.

I reload so it is 44 Mag hands down. It's cheap to load for since I cast and have a slew of moulds for it. I have accomplished more with it and loaded more for it than any other round. When I drop the hammer on a 44 mag it feels differently than other clibers and I do not mean recoil. Feels good.

I wonder if the 45 Colt will give it competition for me. :D

My top 4

1. .22 LR
2. .45 ACP
3. 10mm
4. 9mm

.22 LR tops the list in pistol or rifle in my book; nothing is more fun than going through a few hundred. Then comes .45 ACP and 10mm, which I reload for and have for many years. .45 just edges out 10mm as my favorite centerfire round. 9mm rounds out the list by virtue of it's stellar rapid-fire properties and pricepoint.

1. .22 LR (for fun, simplicity of use and cost)
2. .38 Spl. (for simplicity of use and cost)
3. .357 Mag (full house loads from a J-frame isn't fun but not bad from my model 19)
4. .45 ACP

I voted .327 but only because it was the closest thing on the list to the .32H&R Mag. In reality I could of just voted other.

I shoot .22LR more but it doesn't please me like the .32.

.22LR - no recoil, very accurate, you can shoot all day for a few bucks of ammo, and you can punch paper or cans depending on your mood.

As much as really do enjoy shooting my 22 and 38 revolvers,my Ruger P95 (9mm) is simply a cackling good time to shoot at the range.

'Bout as much recoil as pickin' a booger.:D

And flicks straighter too.:D

My mother-in-law has a .38 Special that I can't stand. Hair trigger, loud, too much recoil for what you get out of it, BLEECH! Plus it's a revolver, and I prefer semiautos. For me, 9mm all the way. Cheap to shoot, good stopping power, not too big or too small. Sweet!
