I said .38 spl as I can load it to varying levels and I do like shooting my Smiths. The 9mm is a very good round for me as well, but I went with the .38.

the tok round is awful fun, but i have to say .45 acp. i like the feel of the firm push back. but i have been thinking hard about the 10mm.

I load and cast my own, so shooting 45's doesn't cost a fortune. I thoroughly enjoy shooting 22's out of my Henry lever action though, probably more than anything else I have. The AK is a close second.

I am a recoil junkie, so my favorite round is the 44 Mag.

But for a longer shooting session I like the 45 ACP's "push" over the "snap" of the 44, so I voted 45 ACP.

My main handgun caliber is 357 magnum. That is what I voted for

If I just want to go plinking ill shoot a 22 cause its cheep

.357 Magnum, specifically a 158grn full power loading from my 4" S&W M28. There's something about shooting a good powerful cartridge from a gun that makes the recoil so mild.

.45 acp..
I really enjoy all 4 guns equally though.
9mm,.45acp,.357mag,.38 special. and 22LR
I have thousands of each round except my "hot".357 loads(about 200 only)

.38 Special all the way,,,

It's got a big enough boom to satisfy the testosterone driven urges,,,
Gentle enough recoil so it's an all day shooter,,,
Powerful enough to work fine for defense.

There might be better rounds out there,,,
But you asked for my favorite.

If I'm shooting at paper targets I enjoy shooting .45 acp the most. So I gave this round my vote.

I enjoy shooting water bottles, cans and the like with .44 mag. Fun to watch things go flying and shoot them in their new spot.

Some of the funnest times I've had shooting were out plinking with my .22 plus it's by far the cheapist too.
