What current production Revolver would you get?

Another vote for the S&W 586.
Glad to see it's back in production.

....^^ Did I miss a memo?? ^^

For me: 686+ 3"bbl. I put my money where my mouth is. I bought it.

Next in line: 629 V-Comp 4"

I went out and got it...

S&W Model 69 - 44 Magnum

Oh now I do find myself liking the looks of that Model 69. Am I right to assume it has the hillary hole on the other side?

Edit: Never mind- a photo just opened that shows it. I'd still like to take a firsthand peek at it though!

I just bought a 629 Competitor.

I really wanted the Stealth Hunter, I like scoped 44's. You can go plinking at rifle ranges and get 2-3" spreads at 50 yards and up.

@ Glenn

Paid $760.00 before taxes and fees.

I should have waited till they come down and I NEVER - EVER - buy the first guns on a new release. But, obviously, this one I did. I really like it and I hope they come out with different barrel lengths in the future.

Smith and Wesson 627. Got the v-comp version several years ago. It's taken a couple hogs over the years and is my favorite plinking/target revolver. I would not hesitate to get another.

Hmm, that V-comp looks mighty fine. Then again, I really like the new Performance Center 686 too. Either gun would be acceptable for my next revolver.

I do not own a .357 Magnum (yet) but I'm dreaming of two of them.
Ruger GP-100 Stainless 6 inch barrel.
S&W Model 27 Blued 4 inch barrel.

I don't let the stupid lock on on the Smiths bother me much, but wished that they would do a run on revolvers without them.
