Then, yesterday, I happened to see they had some boxes of 100 rounds of WWB in FMJ in .45 acp for $32.80 a box. I got two boxes and left a box.
That's class to leave a box for the next guy.
The old guy (My buddy) in the sporting goods at my WM told me about a person that was buying out all the 9mm in front of a guy that really needed a (one) box of 9mm to qualify, and he ask the guy in front if he could spare a box.
The guy in front told him to go to hill.
I had a similar situation with Fed 555 22lr at WM. The guy in front of me was eyeing them 4 box's, and I asked him if he was buying 22lr, he said "yes". Are you buying all of them I said, he said "yes". I asked him if he could at least let me have a box. He turned and look at the ammo and hesitated, "well,...I guess.
There was somebody in front of use both buying something, so we got talking guns. I asked him if he was going shooting. He said "No, I'm just buying them to have them, I just bought a rifle."
Being happy he spared me a box, I told him I target practice at the range "All the time" with my little 22 handgun.
So the old guy pull's out the 4 box's and say's to the guy "do you want all 4 box's?" He said no ones for him, and I graciously thanks him for at least one box.
He turns to me and says, "Do you want another box?"

While the old guy was ringing him up we were talking and quietly we both revealed we were both carry little .38spl in our pockets. I pated on my bulge, and he did the same, and we both smiled at each other.
