Colt Cobra on the slide out drawer under this computer. It's what I'm carrying most right now. Combat Commander, GP 100 and Win 1200 within 15'. Her .357 also, all else in the safe except the BP revolvers (7) in a display case.
 
.357 Dan Wesson revolver loaded with snap caps right next to me on the couch. There's an LCP in my little basket where my wallet and keys go about 20 feet away and it is loaded with ball ammo. Just bought it and will fire it this afternoon for the first time.
 
Taurus 99 (EARLY model)

Within easy reach of my hand is a 20+ year old Taurus 99. It has the old bottom mag release and fully interchanges with my old Beretta 92 Inox. The Taurus 99 is also bright finished, being nickeled. In it's magazines are 14 rounds (mixed) of 124gr Gold Dot +P (11 rds) and Canadian military ball (3 rds) for more :penetration.

Well, my closest is the Mossberg 590, then a little farther out is the AK with the 75 rd. drum. Pretty close by is the CZ-75 and the Ruger Police Service Six in .357. I personally believe if whatever it is gets by the Mossberg I'll be in serious trouble.
 
I am typing this while sitting in bed... I have two choices, there's my AR under my bed in a soft case with 4 loaded mags. CMT Lower, BCM upper, 14.5 mid length. 62gr steel penetrators. Or right next to my bed, there's my Winchester 1300 with 4 rounds of 00buck, then 4 Hornady SST slugs.

Then on my computer desk is the gun I have been carrying every day... an HK p7 PSP with Winchester PDx-1's. Across my room is a safe with a bunch more rifles... and a bunch more shotguns. Also my range bag with a few more handguns.

Most notably in my range bag is my Springfield Champion Operator. In the bag I have two factory mags, 4 Chip McCormick Power 8 mags, and 6 Chip McCormick Power 10 mags. I always keep two of the 8 rounders loaded with Hydra-Shoks, and two 10 rounders usually loaded with 230gr ball.

I live in an area where we have no town cops... so the state troopers can take awhile to get here. I am in the firearms industry so most times my AR... and my range bag with a few handguns are with me or locked in my car, with m carry gun at my side. I am constantly between the shop, home... and the firing line. I leave work late, and a lot of times alone, or with a handful of others. I have gotten threats from people who were denied gun sales ect. I do not take them lightly. I have had attempted force entries when I lived outside of Philadelphia... thankfully no shots needed to be fired.

This is all because my G.F hasn't moved in yet.:rolleyes: She likes guns, has a few of her own, just got her first 1911.... getting ready to build her first AR, but I am not sure she will appreciate guns... range gear... and gun parts out everywhere..... guess I need to enjoy the bachelor pad style a little bit longer.;)

Near, and dear...

My closest right now is my S&W M-19-6 Loaded with 125 gr Cor-Bon copper hollow points. I found this revolver for a song and had a good 'smith rebuild it and tune it up. Eagle SS grips and a Galco hi-ride holster.
