QUICK! Grab Your Nearest Gun

Just want to say, I pray nobody ever has to use it.

That is never a decision I'd want to live with, but it's better than the alternative.

Ruger Mini 30 loaded with 20 rounds of Federal Power-Shok 123gr soft point ammo. There is a second clip with 20 more rounds of Federal Power-Shok sitting on the night stand.

I'm holding it as collateral on a loan. There is no reason it can't serve bedside duty though.

The nearest gun to me right now is my Yugo AK but since this is the handgun forum.. A CZ-75b in .40 loaded with Winchester Ranger's.

This gun has somewhere around 6-7 thousand (closer to 7 than 6) rounds through it now. No issues except with some underpowered novelty rounds.
It is my HD/SD gun of choice.

Jeez, I just took some out, so the closest is my Springfield M1 rifle made in 1944

But we're on the handgun forum so my Ruger MKIII Hunter

Hmmm... depends on where i'm at in the house. If i'm in the living room it will probably be the S&W Bodyguard next to my chair, in the bedroom it will be the Taurus .357 Mag. in the nightstand, in the bathroom (gotta have one near the crapper...never know) it will be the .45 auto. More than likely though it will be the Taurus .40 I have on my hip.

As many options I have, it's my little snubby airweight. Mainly because I can change directions faster with it, and it would be very hard to take it out of my hands. Plus, it my carry gun that I practice with the most.

There's an AR-7 in arms reach, but in the time it takes me to assemble it I can be across the room and grab the bedstand Makarov.
