I have a NAA Guardian .32 that I pocket carry from time to time. Also have a snubnose .357 (Taurus 651) that I could pocket carry, but find it uncomfortable to do so.

Frankly, I don't care much for pocket carry. I just don't like the extra bulk, especially with all the other crap I carry daily. When I pocket carry my .32, I usually end up having to modify my other stuff, usually leaving my wallet at home and just toting some cash and few cards.

A Kahr P380 in my right front pocket or a Kahr MK40 in a Bandara Gun Leather "Beltster". Actually one or the other are usually in the "Beltster" now rather than the pocket. I carried a S&W 340PD in my right front pocket for 7 years in a Mika pocket holster but it was too bulky and I'm happier with the semi-auto. A spare mag loaded and ready in my left front pocket. :)

I rarely pocket carry, preferring instead to carry either IWB or belt holster strong side (allowing me to carry a larger, more capable firearm) but when I do, it's usually a small auto - either a P32 or.. gasp... a .25!

I do sometimes toss a NAA mini-revolver in my pocket, but I really don't consider that being "armed."

i pocket carry often

i use a nemesis for either a ppk/s or a sw945 (short barrel)

the pants that i find the best are cabelas brand jeans
(the shorts are excellent too)

wide, deep pocket....not too bad, compared to some jeans
that have tight pockets

might be a little slow on the draw, but with some practice
you can be ready to go pretty fast

(i dont work for cabelas, but i should...but do have their card,
which works really well for amassing points towards purchases....
heck of a lot better than airline miles)

I carry either an LCP or an LCR depending on the size of my pockets that day. When pocket space allows (khakis/khaki shorts) I carry the LCR. When pocket space doesn't allow (jeans) I carry the LCP.

Today there are more than enough pocket gun options to make a man dizzy. I just went through the same ordeal and ended up going with a snub.

Yep, me is too. S&W 638

I call it my Bodyguard:D

I fall somewhere between your choices. I've been wringing out an old Charter Arms Undercover, or I was until one of my troops expressed an interest in it. The little five-shooters are completely serviceable pocket revolvers and for decades, were the choice for anyone needing substantial thump from a small, reliable handgun.

As to the .380s... modern variants are entirely reliable (even with good JHPs) and they are certainly small & light enough for constant carry. Still, some have all but nonexistent sights- and given a choice, I'll always pick something that chucks a heavier bullet.

That brings us to the pocket nines and forties, of which there are several. My favorites are the PM40 & PPS in the same caliber; only problem with them is that they sell for more than a decent service pistol in the same chambering. Guess I should quit bitchin' and just shell out the shekels for one.

Don't like pocket guns or pocket carry period. I would get used to one and have as a back-up gun. But I always prefer carrying and using my full sized firearm over a pocket carry or sub-combact. I have one, being the Glock 27..I had a love/hate with it, because of my big hands. I was accurate with it..just didn't like the feel when I shot it all day 300rds+ but it would be good and IS good for self defense. I dunno....Weird.

HOWEVER, if I did have to choose and I did...I'd go for the XD subcompact or Glock supcompact. Then snubbie, then pocket gun.

I held the control key down and voted for the small auto & snub revolver because a carry one just as much as the other.

i don't smoke but i carry a small bic lighter for....just in case. i wouldn't carry a lighter at all if it was too large. same with a pocket gun. i carry an amt 380 backup because it is the smallest reliable pistol i can fit in my pocket.

I checked all the boxes. Depends on my attire of the day.

My main carry, usually without the reload.

SIG P238 is my choice

I love it! Slightly larger than LCP but with awesome trigger and easy to shoot. Night sights also...

Snubbies work for me

My first pocket carry was a S&W 642, very comfortable in pocket but not so much at the range. Next came a Ruger LCR, not quite as comfy in pocket but more so at the range. This week, I couldn't resist the latest S&W Bodyguard .38 with laser. Feels great, will fire it tomorrow. Depending on pants, I use either Mika or Uncle Mike's pocket holsters and couldn't be happier with them.
