The CZ p-07 is the answer to everything you seek....best part is It's a CZ and not striker fired.
Perfect size, Perfect feel, Perfect operation....uber accurate. I can probably hit the 100 gong 15 out of 15 times if I really tried hard. The 07 really is the ultimate shooters pistol.
Man what a fine firearm...almost as nice as my CZ75 and P-09, if not for the CZs my Sigs would still be my favorite pistol manufacture.

The only thing that would be the EXACT size as a Glock 19 would be another Glock 19.
Speaking rationally, though, the Glock 19 and Walther P99/PPQ are within a few millimeters in size of each other, with similar weights and the same capacity (with the unloaded weight of the PPQ ever-so-slightly less than the Glock 19 at 21.5 oz. versus 23.65).
As a size/weight/capacity comparison, the P99/PPQ is a valid analogue to the Glock 19.
Yes 7.62 mm or 0.3" in height. As seen in both pictures and the product specifications from the manufacturers. As I said, if it doesn't make a difference for you I get it, but my point was it depends on how particular the OP is about that size. For me personally I notice the difference in size between when I carried a PPQ and when I did/do carry a Glock 19.
I would agree. But when you quote part of my post where I use the word exact and then say, "Nope", when both product specifications and Mk. I eyes will see there is a difference, even if slight, then I'm going to clarify.
I'm really not looking for an argument on this. I know you're a Walther fan and I've owned multiple PPQs and P99s and have no problem recommending them. I think I've been very even handed on this, especially if you had quoted the whole text of the post that quote came from.

Then there is always the M&P compact in 9mm, many don't realize these are a 12+1 gun. Only losing 3rds compared to the 19 and its a bit smaller.

I'll second the Steyr line. I like the little longer M-A1 over the C-A1 balance wise. Other mentioned models that I like are the FNH FNS, Sig 320C, Walther PPQ and P99AS.
Striker wise, I put the HK VP9, Sig 320, Steyr's (current models), and Walther PPQ as the top out of the box triggers. Each offers a slight advantage in a particular area over the others. Overall they are all excellent.

My favorite non Glock is the Steyr. I have a PPQ and a VP9 too. The VP9 is just too big and I don't shoot it any better than the others. The PPQ has a sweet trigger, but a high bore axis. Having said that, the G19 is the best all around package IMO.

If the weapon in the top right of the first photo imediately above is the PPQ, it actually OUTSHOT the Glock 19 - similar group size shot from twice the distance.
Higher bore axis is an issue, but so is precision.
That said, I like Glocks, but I like other guns, as well. (I currently a number of weapons, and am as impressed by my SR9 and SR9c as any of the striker-fired guns.) Different strokes for different folks...

I've seen that. I wish it was a 9mm though. I'm already in that dilemma with the HK45C. Same size as the Glock 19 but only holds 8+1. I had the PPQ. I gave it to a good friend several years back. He was a south paw and times got rough in our area. That was when I bad 47 handguns. That was then... I'd like to give it a shot again.
That's another one I'm looking at. The steyr.

I am not anti Glock, ( I have a G27), but when I compared the G19 to the Ruger, I got the Ruger SR9. I then went Ruger SR9C, and sold the full size.
The SR9c comes with a 17 round mag that you can carry if you feel you need more capacity. The mag disconnect can be removed easy, and the thumb safety is something that you get used to checking.
