Pic Thread: Your first handgun (if you still own it.)

My great grandfather traded a tank of gas for this Police Positive Target .22WRF in the 1920s. He gave it to my grandpa - my grandpa gave it to my dad - my dad gave it to me many years ago, then I fixed the grips. I have no kids, but I do have a nephew who's turned into as big a gun nut as his uncle!

The gun I first used and learned to shoot with was a ruger single six .22. It was my uncles. I just recently bought a new model to teach my daughter to shoot with. She at 7 thinks she can tag a tree rat at 15 yards with it. I believe her though she has yet to shoot it.

My first handgun, Ruger Single Six convertible. I just recently added these grips, still have the original wood grips.

My first was a Beretta 92 and thought it was an awesome pistol until I bought a glock and realized I didn't like it anymore. Sold it two months ago.

Here she is, a Ruger RST-6, circa 1979. Bought new for 92 bucks. Loved it enough to also get a KMK-512, later when I had acquired several more guns.
