overpriced and second rate

Gee, glad I did not go with a Kahr. The price turned me off, and I got a Glock.

Good choice based on what I hear in this thread.

The CW line of Kahr's aren't over priced at around $375-400. This is the price that their whole line should be around however. Mine was faultless while I owned it.

HK - My friends love them, a few of them own between 8 and 15 different Hk's, but i just cant stand the way they feel or shoot

1. Another vote for Kimber. Heard lots of talk from a buddy, but I wasn't really impressed with the one I shot. Jammed twice in 50rnds. Maybe really atypical, I don't know. I saw another being returned to a store for some issues, too. For around $1000 or better, I wouldn't think that shouldn't happen. Maybe just a huge fluke that of the 2times I saw a Kimber outside a glass case, issues were arising.....
Nice looking guns, though.

2. Seecamp....well...I've never shot one. But I thought I'd try a .380 to see what all the fuss is about. Then I saw the pricetag. Really?

3. Hi-Point........ :D

Nothing wrong with a Kimber; they are just very magazine sensative. That is the usual cause of malfunction I have found.

HK - not second rate by any means, just over priced in my book

I have to say that while I love the H&K's, they are a bit too high priced for what you get out of them. The accessories and spare parts are high-dollar, and they don't do anything particularly better than any other brand out there.

On the other hand, I haven't worn one out, either. So maybe you do get what you pay for.

I have a Kahr MK9 Elite. I bought it used from an FFL. Thousands of rounds through it, all sorts of ammo from high end defense to Wolf and never a burp, glitch, stall, FTF.

IMI -- I have three Uzis. The expense for the Mod. 45's is that they're "grandfathered" and can't be currently imported. The Jericho I have is flawless, and I didnt spend a lot of money on it.

Seacamp is custom produced in a small shop. Small and finely finished like a watch. NAA Guardian is almost the same gun, but you're paying a premium for the fit/finish/size of the Seacamp.

Kimber -- don't get me started. Warranted for only a year, and Kimber doesn't make ANY of the parts on their 1911's. ANY 1911 mag should function in ANY 1911. "Fussy" shouldn't "cost extra."
