mouse guns, whose got one?

I have a Colt .25 Vest Pocket automatic and I carried that for years when nothing else would fit. I have since retired the old auto to the safe and started to carry a Ruger LCP. I liked the old Colt, came in handy but the LCP does it just as well!;)

Congrats on her purchase TailGator!!
On another note I got to shoot my brand new TCP today for the first time. I ran 100 rounds of FMJ and 25 rounds of Rem. HTP through it. YEP its a keeper!! It is an accurate little bugger if I do my part. The amazing thing is I shoot it very well, I attribute that to me being used to a DA trigger, being a wheel gun guy. It isn't unpleasant at all to shoot like I thought it would be. So after I cleaned her up. She went into a new pocket holster and rode around in my pocket all day today. And I think she will most everyday. GREAT LITTLE PISTOL!!

Mouse Guns, Who Has Got One

I have three of them. Walther PPK, & PPK/S in .380. I also have a Walther TPH in .22 lr. I carry a CS45, so any of these would be for backup.

Beretta 950 in .25 acp and although I rarely carry it, I've had it for about 15 years. It'll shoot 2 inch or better groups at 7 yards and is 100% reliable. I had to file the rear sight channel to get it sighted in, it shot 4 inches to the right at 7 yards but it's dead on now. I got it for helping a buddy out, so the price was right.

I always wanted one because it was so fascinating to me, being so tiny and all, more of a novelty than anything else. And... it's better than nothing if you cant conceal anything else. It comes with me to the range regularly, I love it for first time shooters. Nobody is scared to try this guy. I love it and cant see ever getting rid of it :D

Love my little Jetfire, too. I never carry it, but like you, I enjoy taking it to the range and it gets a lot of "hey, can I try it?" type attention, particularly from the ladies.

Indeed, skoro!! Everybody wants a turn, I think tiny guns fascinate most people whether they admit it or not. I've taught more than a few women the very basics with my Jetfire, it puts a smile on everybody's face. I've always wanted one of those NAA 22 revolvers that clip into a belt buckle, they're just so damn neat!

Yup. A NAA Guardian in .32 or, more frequently these days, a Sig 238 in .380. Either one will fit handily in my jeans pocket with the appropriate holster to keep it in place.

Jerrys, I just started working on these loads, so I can't jump to conlusions, but I suspect that uniformity in everything is a lot more critical in these, than with larger calibers. I tested loads with Red Dot, Bullseye, and Unique. Red Dot gave me the most uniform velocities, with Unique gave me the most uniform group. The powder charges are so tiny that even a minor variation is a significant percentage. Overall seating depth was measured on each, and compliant with load data, but bullet is barely in the case. What I also believe might be a factor is that I did not sort cases, and they are mixed, nor did I measure or trim them. Everything to do with these is such a high percentage of total. Not like a 9mm, where .1 or .2 grains of powder is insignificant or a case a tiny bit longer affects seating tension. Now that I know what it is capable of, my next batch of testing with be done with surgical precision.

Since 1986 my deepest conceal has been a Beretta 21a 22lr:

And it's been a real chore to round up reasonably priced 40gr mini-mags and velocitors; hence, minimal range time with it in recent years.

For years I have carried a Kel-Tec P3AT 380 with laser, pocket clip, and 7 rounds of .355" 90 gr Gold Dot at 1100 fps, and the pistol weighs 11 ounces loaded and clips into my shirt pocket.

Then the guy I was hunting with knocked down an antelope buck. I was not dead yet. I took out my 380 and handed to him. It went click. I opened up the action and it was full of pocket lint. I blew out a big ball of lint and handed it back to him. He instantly kill the buck with the 380. Then he complained about the painful recoil. He is a 6'2' 230 pound man. Should be able to shoot a mouse gun with hand loads.
