Who says the G19 is not a good looking little guy? IMO, the Glock looks better than many, because everything has a clear and obvious purpose. Appearance is dictated by clean and efficient function. I can't think of anything else I want to look at, regarding my defensive handgun.
Stick a 33 round magazine in it, and it doesn't look like a scene from babewatch. Well guess what, this isn't about babewatch!!!!!!!! What makes my G19 pretty with a 33 round mag is that it will fire every round without fail, and switch to the next 33 rounder with no fidgeting. Every round works and flies very well, without fail. There is nothing else to look at, if you know what you're looking for.

Where are all the Glocksters. I thought they would be all over this poll..and whats with HK and 6 votes?

I'm here, not sure where everybody else is... PBP respond to this one yet? I know he fancies himself a Glock man some days... He's got a little too much steel in his safe to be pure Kool-blooded though...

Maybe if it was a HK 416 I'd be interested, or maybe an MP-5... Not wild about their pistols though...

I think caliber, type, finish, barrel length, and size are more important than make. Personally I'd take a stainless 4" k frame sized .357 revolver by any maker other than Taurus/Rossi.

I find that I tend to vote with my wallet, so this is what I have purchased (so far):

#1 - Rossi .357 snub nose revolver

#2 - Bersa Thunder .380

Naturally it would have to be a Single Action. What other type of revolver is there??? Next it would have to be a Ruger as the Ruger is built to last. It would also have to be a .45 Colt and handle Ruger only loads when needed. Must be 5 1/2 or 7 1/2. Lastly it must have adjustable sights. Don't care if blued or stainless. :D . Now what gun fits the above requirements? That's my 'just' one handgun.

If I can only have one gun:
2 1/2" S&W 686
corrosion resistant, concealable, versatile, reliable, durable, accurate.

I think my Model 10 is a fantastic handgun.

My little Taurus Ultralight 85 is also a great carry gun.

My little Mauser HSC,I must admit I can't really trust it.

My Smith 617 is a great gun but not one I'd want to repel two bad guys doing a home invasion on my property.

But my Ruger P95 makes me cackle like a crazy guy everytime I fire it-man is it easy to shoot accurately.

I said in another thread like this it would be a 340 Smith or a 60-15 Smith but I like that 15 rounds of ammo in my hand in a sturdy trustworthy handgun.

And I like that I have 2-10 round mags and now I have two 15 round mags and I can have fifty rounds loaded and ready to go,all that flush fit inside the grip.

If I had to do with one,it would be my Ruger P95 9mm.

Fun to shoot at the range and so much ammo at the bad guy,he'd think I threw a thousand feet per second cow pie at him.

I'd just have to do rifles and shotguns for game.

Now with all the traffic on this forum about 10 mm's,we will see.........:D
