How often do you clean your gun(s)?

Clean the Gun

Glocks full detail strip and clean every 2000+ rounds.
Other Semi-Auto's around 1000 rounds
Wheelguns, every 300-400 rounds.
Most rounds fired are Re-loads.

After detail stripping a gun, how do you know it will go BANG the next time without trying it? When I detail strip I clean then go to the range.

I was taught to clean it on any of 3 occasions.

When it is fired.

When it has been 30 days.

When it is needed.
