i like to keep my weapons clean at all times. after i leave the range i don't run right home and clean it. but not usually dirty for to long.

Every time I get home from the field or range, I clean my firearms. Of course I'm a bit of an oddity in todays world, for example I also shave and bathe every day as well.:)

You didn't have an option for me so I didn't vote.

I clean every one of my guns even if I only shoot one single round. That doesn't happen often (only shooting one round) but you get the idea. Even if I don't shoot my guns, carry guns get cleaned once every week or two and all the others get cleaned once every few months. I just like to clean my guns. :)

I shoot 200-300 rounds each range trip (I try once a week but at aleast every other week) and clean when I get home.

i thought i was the only one that did that.:D

If I shoot one round or a million, I clean when I'm done with each range session. I rarely shoot a million rounds in one sitting though.:D

I couldnt have said it better myself.

The poll is flawed.

Flawed Poll

Should have had a box for whenever they are shot.

Just reading the board as I am cleaning them up from a range trip after work as I type this. Went down after work shot two rounds of Pins and then hit the other side of the range for some practice with my CCW and some longer range stuff and off hand stuff ramping up for IPSC this summer.

My dad always said "A CLEAN and LUBED gun is a HAPPY gun"

Not so sure I want to know where he came up with that one but it worked to get me into the habit of always cleaning, inspecting and lubing a gun after use. Oh and dont forget the check and relube as needed before actually shooting.
