How much 22LR do you have.

I have historically kept my stock at 20k. I have not bought any since Sandy Hook. I slowed down my shooting quite a bit and only recently started competing again. Down to 10k and feeling nervous...

I stopped buying 22 for myself over a year ago. Come to think go it I haven't shot any 22's in a year and a half. Oh ya I have enough for a little while.

Probably about 5,000-6,000 rounds. I don't think I have ever spent over .08 per round and that was for 100 count CCI Mini Mags. Most I have bought were in the .04-.06 range per round. I haven't bought much since the shortage began.

One box of 225 rounds. I stop shooting my .22 when the price of ammo sky rocketed and I refused to buy it. I've had that box for about 2 years now.

~10K... The problem is that I usually blow away a full brick whenever I go to the range. That's the problem with 10/22's. I need to switch to my Savage . . .

About 4,000 rounds I guess.

If you count a few hundred shorts.

I've sold off most of my 22 guns though. I don't shoot near as much as I used to, and I can reload 38's.

Over 10K. Two years ago G M had 4K cans of Remington for 140$ and I bought 2. Earlier this year I saw the same can on EBAY and some nitwit was asking 400$ I also have multiple Federal Bricks and.
But never enough

Haven't been shooting rimfire much lately, as I can load 38, 9 for same amount...and it is more plentiful.. what I used to shoot plinking wise in 22, is centerfire pistol..

But I have about a case.. most was gotten when supply eased up between ammo shortage in 2009, and the current one..

I only keep or buy 3 brands, as I learned my lesson last time, not all is created equal..not all cycles equal, or is consistient.
Std vel cci, federal automatch, or wolf match target/sk standard is my choice..

That is not saying I don't still shoot rimfire and enjoy it, but lately 50-100 rds through a bolt rifle shooting lollipops at 50 yds scratches the itch..

I have almost weaned the wife off wmr, and moved her to centerfire...
But I still have enough for her to shoot, but not at the rate she used to..

I won't buy 22 for ten cents a round unless it is wolf/sk, and that has been 55-60 a brick before the shortage. .

I have around 30,000 rounds of 22 LR with a few hundred shorts thrown in along with around 5500 22 mags. I haven't bought any ammo since Sandy Hook except for one CCI Mini Mag 100ct box.

My shooting buddy finally finished his homebuilt airplane so maybe we can get back to doing a little shooting. None of the ammo I have is for sale or give away to help out a buddy. If you didn't see this coming then you are SOL as far as I'm concerned. I do feel sorry for new shooters who have trouble finding ammo. We need all the new blood we can get. Thats why if I see any ammo of any kind for sale I pass on it so someone else can have a chance to shoot.

I learned all I needed to know back about 1994 with the primer scare. I will never be short of shooting stock and supplies again.

I can relate to FrankenMauser, a little here and little there. I don't think I'll ever run out..or find it all probably. I haven't bought a round since the scare, just haven't needed to. I could probably scare up 10 or 12 thousand around here if I went looking.
Yea, I don't like to be caught with my pants down.

I'm getting a little anxious, though...
The case on the front edge of my bench is the current case being consumed. I just checked, and there are only 7 bricks (3,500 rounds) and 8 boxes (400 rounds) left in it.
At the current rate that I'm shooting .22 LR, I'll have to open another case in 9-10 years.

I have accumulate only around 6000 over the past 20 years. I haven't bought any since Obama took over Washington. It is all CCI Min Mag. Found these more expensive however function best in all my semi-auto firearms. Don't shoot that much so my life time is covered..

When the shortage started 2-3 years ago I had about 5,000 on hand. Some bricks had $7,95 stickers on them. During past year if I saw some in Walmart or a shop I picked it up. Gave away about 4,000 rounds during that time period to guys who couldn't find any. ..usually for the kids or grandkids. Still managed to double my stock to 10,000 on hand even with give aways and shooting some. Refused to pay scum scalpers and gougers. Only bought at suggested retail.

Really hoping this lack of supply corrects itself soon. A ridiculous situation.

Around 6k. Most of it CCI Mini Mags, but 1k is Remington Target ammo that I've had for 15 years. I've got a variety of CCI. Hollow point, solid point, Stingers, and the hard to find Velocitors. Just got lucky finding stuff online. Now it seems that CCI is focusing on standard velocity solid points. Picked up a brick of WW 36 gr HP in the wood box from Cabela's a couple of months ago. Finally found a brand my 10/22 hates, LOL. 30-40% FTE, FTfeed.

After the last run on 22 ammo in 2008, I made sure that I always had a surplus of ammo.
I managed to buy several cases of my favorite brands in 2012, just before Sandy hook, and have been slowly shooting it over the past few years.

NYS is implementing an ammo back ground check next year ( if they get their act together ), and banned internet sales, so I am slowly adding to my stockpile so I'll never have to buy ammo in NYS again.

I have a few dozen bulk packs of Remington and Winchester.
I also have a 20mm can full up with CCI Mini Mags. It's very
heavy.
