Guns You Wish They'd Make

A Beretta Cheetah in 9mm,,,
I know it's not feasible,,,
But I would buy one.

Aarond

Displaying my complete lack of firearms engineering here, but why would this not be feasible?

By the way, if it were feasible, this would be my choice as well.

my dream guns

A stainless ruger 10-44 with high cap mags.
A convertible revolver in 40S&W with extra cylinder set up for 10mm that didn't require moon clips.
A 22mag autoloader with slides and barrels for CC and target work. One 3.5" slide for.CC and a 5 inch slide with 8" barrel for target work.
A fancy walking cane or umbrella with a reliable pistol caliber gun concealed within. All I've seen so far.
A automatic pistol with detachable butt stock and interchangeable barrels so you could have a full size pistol or pistol caliber carbine with just 2 accessories.
A hi point carbine with a delayed blowback operation chambered in 45acp,40, and 44 mag with the mag ahead of the grip and hi cap mags that work properly. So many ideas just not enough time in the machine shop unsupervised to make them happen.

New, modern sa/da revolvers in 45colt. Something like a Taurus M450. Para Ordnance double stack 1911s in 10mm. A safe semiauto in 17HMR. And on a side note, Id like to see Hornady make a 240gr 44mag leverevolution round.

I second the idea.....

...........of a short barrelled Hi Power, with the option of stainless. It's tough to find those FM detectives.

On the revolver side- I wish NAA would come out with a slightly larger revolver in .32 H&R mag

1. A Makarov pistol chambered in 9x19
They made one. It was considered too unsafe for distribution in the United States - by the distributor themselves. It is a gas delayed blowback gun in semi-HK rifle style.

I wish SIG would bite the bullet and make a striker fired pistol.
I wish Sig would kick themselves square in the ass hard enough for them to start making quality handguns again.

A few people here have said in so many words that they want some particular gun from out of the past but they want it modernized. Don't the guns being made now fit that description already? With S&W revolvers, for instance, no one ever seems to like the modernized versions of their so-called classic revolvers, not that I blame them. And someone else wants a Colt Government Model that is simpler and tougher! Would a Browning Hi-Power in .45 auto fit that description?

A new gen HK P7 with improvements based on some of the lessons learned over the past 30 years. But the same perversely enjoyable experience of operating it. :D

i would like to see a gun made that is reliable, well built and all aroumd good. but not 3-4 times the money it cost's to make it.

i understand profit but when ur making enough profit from 1 item to make 3-4 more thats ridiculous.

example: it costs $100,if that for glock to make a pistol but you will never find a brand new one for under $500

A reliable AR-15
An accurate AK
A Glock that won't shatter in temps below freezing
A 1911 that doesn't feel like a brick with a handle
An inexpensive HK
A clean running HK91

:rolleyes::D:rolleyes:
