Guns You Wish They'd Make

-A BHP with a shorter reset ... question > is there any existing kit ?
-An affordable Sig P210 ... could be possible if more production and modern precision CNC machinery
 
Expand the ammunition and handgun/carbine offerings for 5.7 and .22 TCM. And I agree with whoever mentioned an LCR in .327 magnum, great idea.

I wish Ruger would make these 3 and all 3 will sell:

1. BHP! FN/Browning seems to have pretty much abandon it so Ruger could step in. Stainless, extended safety, no mag safety (not going to happen) and no bite hammer (come on, the gun has been manufactured for over 75 years, surely they could have figured that one by now). And a shorter version, sort of like FM Detective, would be even better! And if they can make them for about $600 street price (about the same as SR1911?) they would sell. Just please do not call it SRHP, sounds too much like a senior citizen organization.:D

2. P238/P938. Make them with, and I can not believe I am about to say this, poly frame and price them at $350-400. Ruger will need a new assembly line to keep up with demand.

3. One of the Marks .22s with 30 round mag. Ultimate plinking pistol?

Affordable P210 and Broomhandle (especially if they could make it with shoulder stock) - that would be really cool, just don't think it will ever happen.
 
How about a Beretta 92 series with a frame-mounted safety? I know, there's the Steel I, but I want something in the price range of the current 92FS and M9A1.

Beretta needs to make this gun affordable. Heck, it doesn't even need to be very affordable - just MAKE it again in higher quantities!

I have a SR1911 already. My local guys have them in stock for 669. But they no longer sell anything online because they said that Ruger is already max out for the year and are not taking order on the SR1911. But love to pair mine with a 9mm version for sure.

PM30 by Keltec. I heard today that they have hundreds of thousands of back orders for the pistol. I have no idea if the Dealer knew what he was talking about or where he got his info. I also saw a man today pay $585 (not counting Tax or FFL fee) for a pistol that CDNN list for $299 - is that crazy or what?? I wonder why Keltec does not "farm" out production to Ruger/S&W or other manufactuers that already make plastic pistols or other things. In WWII even Sewing Machine Companies got into pistol making. Keltec has a shotgun, and a rifle, and a pistol that MANY MANY WANT and no one can get.
Crazy, to design a firearm thats a home run - then not run the bases at all.
 
I wish S&W would start making 3rd gen autos again. I'd like to pick up a couple of the .45 and 10mm variants without paying the ridiculously high prices on Gunbroker.

I also wish Sig would still produced some of their guns here with the folded carbon steel slide. It seems that most of their models today are the beefed up versions designed to work with the .40 S&W, but if you want just a 9mm it makes the guns a little on the fat side.
 
Ok I'll play along since its a wish gun or what I would like to see be made.I wish Sig would make a P238M ( M= mans hand ) it should have a 3.2 inch barrel rather than the 2.7 one.the frame should be big enough to fit a mans hand better ( giving about 2-3 more rounds ) along with a grip safety

so to just sume it up make a mans version of the P238 with a grip safety
 
A "Pump-Auto". This would be a semi-automatic rifle with a pump accessory that can be attached that would repeatedly activate the trigger by pumping it up and down, simulating full-auto fire.

All Stainless steel .308 AR style rifle.

Crickett .22 with a steel (instead of plastic) cocking handle.

AC556 and parts.

Swiss made revolvers.
 
Interesting that someone should ask for a Colt Diamondback in .327 magnum. It sounds like a good combination. There used to be something called a .256 magnum based on a necked down .357 case. It was quite powerful (on paper, anyway) but used lighter bullets than the .327 would. It was catalogued as available in Colt revolvers in 1960, which seems to be my base year for all things gun-wise. However, I don't know if any were actually manufactured. The cartridge apparently did not gain a lot of popularity.

Another cartridge that appeared around the same time was the .22 jetfire or of a similiar name. It was also a necked down .357 using even smaller bullets. S&W made some k-frames in that chambering that came with inserts so .22 rimfire could also be used. There's a good chance that if you find one for sale, it will come with reloading dies.

I'd be happy with a Colt Diamondback in any caliber and I think I've seen as many S&W .22 jetfires as I have Diamondbacks.

I don't remember the model number of the S&W. Model 53, maybe?

Sig 551 with a steel lower as the original had

A bullpup in something more than 223 and less than 308 that is not clunky and has iron sights. 7.62 x 39 would work.

A factory takedown lever gun ala the Alaska copilot would rock
 
I'd love to see a few-

M&P9SC coming from the manufacturer with the shield trigger.

Ruger to make a 4 inch GP100 with fixed sights.

Glock to make a long barreled baby glock. Put a 4.5 inch barrel and slide on a G26 or G27.
