Gale McMillan is gone

Rock-A truly great man has been lost to us all! I had the priviledge of conversations with your father via email. In true form he told me everything I needed to know and then hoped he helped me out. I will pray to the creator for Gale and the ones he leaves behind. We will all miss him.

Though few of us ever met him in person, his presence on TFL was like that of a favorite uncle.
He didn't say much, but when he spoke we all listened attentively.
He will be missed.
 
I would like to add my condolences also. I looked forward to reading Gale's posts as they were very informative and told in a way that made us believe that we were actually his peers when I imagine that there are not very many people in the world that could actually be considered equal to his accomplishmnets.
He was a humble and unassuming man - a true hero. He will be missed. Remember the good times always with your best friend - your father.

Let me also say to everyone we are blessed. Blessed to have a man like this waiting for us in Heaven.
 
While I never had the pleasure of meeting Gale, I learned a great deal from his posts here at TFL. He will be sorely missed. Rest in peace, sir.

The shooting industry has lost a truly great man and The Firing Line has lost a good friend. I am sure that neither will ever forget him.
 
I was saddened by the passing of Mr. McMillian, though I did not know him personaly I did know him by reputation, and that reputation was one fine person and a great shooter and rifleman. He will be sadly missed by all. God bless!

I never met Gale, but I respected and admired him immensely. I considered his advice to be GOLD. My heartfelt sympathies to the McMillan family. May God grant strength to endure the pain of loss.
 
Heartfelt and simple prayers for the family. Mr. McMillan is highly respected. He will be greatly missed by all who love the rifle and good men.
